Harrison Dislocates Finger Against Mountaineers, Returns
Thursday, March 26
According to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander, Harrison injured his finger in the second half of Kentucky's Sweet 16 matchup with West Virginia. John Clay of Lexington Herald-Leader reported that he would return to the game as well. Veteran Kentucky beat writer Jerry Tipton reported that Harrison's two middle fingers were taped together.
After the game, Kyle Tucker of The Courier Journal reported that Harrison's left hand felt fine. Brett Dawson of Rivals.com reported that the official diagnosis was a dislocated left ring finger.
Harrison entered Thursday as the team's leading scorer at 11.1 points a game. His absence wouldn't have had an impact on Kentucky advancing to the Elite Eight, but the unbeaten Wildcats will certainly need him in the later round(s).
