As the team's official Twitter feed noted, Haslem was held out of Sunday's game against the Toronto Raptors, marking his third consecutive absence to start the season:
Haslem isn't a major contributor, but he logged 14.2 minutes per game last year and can play a solid role off the bench.
With Chris Andersen also sidelined and Josh McRoberts still limited by his toe injury, the Heat featured a major dose of Shawne Williams (28 minutes) and Justin Hamilton (18 minutes) in the frontcourt next to Chris Bosh and Luol Deng.
Although Haslem is hardly going to make a huge impact on any given game, his health is important for Miami's depth. Erik Spoelstra doesn't likely want Bosh and Deng logging nearly 40 minutes per game, as they did Sunday.
