Injuries, Fit Have Slowed Lawsonย
The point guard dealt with a hamstring injury before the 2014-15 NBA regular season began, but he was still able to play in the Denver Nuggets' opener and missed only seven games. It was a turbulent stint for Lawson in Denver, though, leading him to be traded to Houston this offseason.
The Western Conference shows no mercy due to its plethora of playoff-caliberย teams. The Rockets' disappointing start has continued through December. Houston sits eighth with a 16-19 record, and some of the team's problems stem from Lawson's lackluster play. In 32 games, he's averaging 6.4 points and 4.3 assists.
