Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb's Post-Week 7 Fantasy Reaction
The Green Bay Packers' potent passing attack was firing all cylinders for a fourth straight week.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was dealing in Sunday's Week 7 home contest with the Carolina Panthers. Rodgers notched a nearly perfect stat line of 19-of-22 passing, 255 yards and three touchdowns.
Instead of spreading it around, Rodgers did what he's been known to do—attack over and over with his elite receiving duo. Jordy Nelson (four catches, 80 yards) and Randall Cobb (six catches, 121 yards) each caught touchdowns in the opening half.

Rodgers' 59-yard touchdown bomb to Nelson was the first of many Packers scores on the day, and also made for a career record for the wideout, per the team's official Twitter:
After two rushing scores from Eddie Lacy and James Starks, Rodgers went back to the air again. He connected with Cobb on a short pass that went for 47 yards, and he rewarded the receiver by tossing him a three-yard touchdown three plays later.
Cobb's score put him second in the league behind Julius Thomas with eight touchdowns, as ESPN Stats & Info noted a career mark for him:
Rodgers, Cobb and Nelson have been among the best names to have in fantasy football after the Pack's slow start to the season, and it's only getting better for their owners after Week 7.
Cobb and Nelson are very clearly the best receiving pair in football, at least stat-wise. Nelson ranks second among all receivers in ESPN fantasy leagues, while Cobb comes in at fifth overall.
It's not surprising to see their meteoric rise with Rodgers playing near-perfect football. Entering Sunday, he had 14 touchdowns to just one turnover—a fumble—in his last five games.
Sunday's performance did come against the league's 20th-ranked pass defense, but it doesn't get much tougher in the near future. The Packers travel to face New Orleans, which ranks 25th against the pass, in Week 8.
But if you have any of the three players, it might be wise to start looking for replacements with a Week 9 bye upcoming.
However, that should only be a short-term move. No matter what the matchup is, Rodgers has proven able to put up big numbers—and those big numbers will almost always result in strong days from Cobb and Nelson as well.
The Packers' offense is showing no signs of slowing down, and that will result in even more big days from Rodgers and Co. through the air.
