Colts' Andrew Luck on Pace for Record-Setting Season
Heading into Sunday's Week 7 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts is on pace to finish the year with 458 completions, 5,299 passing yards and 45 passing touchdowns, which would put him in the top six of the all-time single-season lists for each of those categories, per ESPN Stats & Info.
The completions would be good for second on that all-time list, while the passing yards would rank third, and the touchdowns would tie Aaron Rodgers' 2011 campaign for sixth.
Luck leads the NFL in each category this season, with 172 completions (on a league-leading 260 attempts) for 1,987 passing yards and 17 touchdowns through six games.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
His efficiency stats, while still impressive, are a bit more modest than the raw numbers.
The former Stanford Cardinal ranks seventh in passer rating (99.6), ninth in completion percentage (66.2) and 10th in yards per attempt (7.64) among the 33 qualified quarterbacks. He is fifth in total quarterback rating (80.1), trailing Philip Rivers (87.1), Peyton Manning (85.2), Aaron Rodgers (82.4) and Tony Romo (80.5), per ESPN.com.
On the other hand, Luck's seven interceptions put him in a five-way tie for second most in the NFL, with only Kirk Cousins having thrown eight.
Of course, Luck has also contributed 93 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns on 26 carries, joining Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford and Josh McCown (two apiece) as the only quarterbacks with multiple rushing scores this season.
Luck hasn't had the benefit of an unusually favorable schedule, as easy matchups with the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars have been balanced out by trickier dates with the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens.
This week's game perhaps looks difficult on paper, but the Bengals haven't looked good on defense lately and haven't been able to generate a pass rush all season.
Looking farther ahead, Luck doesn't have many overly difficult matchups, which should allow him to make a real run at 5,000+ yards and 40+ touchdowns, if not the all-time records of 5,477 yards and 55 scores, both set by Manning last season.
