Despite a running game that only averaged 3.4 yards per carry, Bortles remained efficient through the air. The rookie was on fire out of the gate on Sunday. Take a glance at his early stat line, via Rotoworld's Adam Levitan:
Some rookie mistakes followed late in the game while Bortles and Co. were attempting to keep up with the high-octane Chargers offense; however, the rookie's performance was good enough to suddenly put him on fantasy owners' radars.
Take a look at your league's waiver wire, because Bortles may be worth picking up as a spot starter during bye weeks—or at the very least, a bench player with nice upside.
Speaking of formerly under-the-radar players, Harbor became the team's starting tight end following an injury to Marcedes Lewis. He quickly became Bortles' security blanket, and his eight receptions on eight targets signifies nice chemistry with the quarterback.
Harbor may not be in line to warrant a starting spot on fantasy teams just yet, but he is worth a waiver-wire addition for a fantasy owner who needs depth at tight end.
