John Brown, Michael Floyd's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 3
Even without their usual starting quarterback, Arizona Cardinals receivers John Brown and Michael Floyd seem keen to make big plays in 2014.
Cardinals QB Carson Palmer was sidelined for Sunday's NFC West showdown with the San Francisco 49ers, yet Brown and Floyd have helped keep Arizona on track in a 23-14 win.
Backup signal-caller Drew Stanton hit Floyd on five passes, gaining an impressive 114 yards. The rookie Brown has acquitted himself well, hauling in 4 receptions for 52 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns.

Floyd is a legitimate No. 2 fantasy option even with a legend like Larry Fitzgerald starting opposite him. The young wideout is more explosive than Fitzgerald and shouldn't be discounted for his one-catch effort in Week 2, since he was still targeted six times.

As for Brown, he's bound to become a bigger factor, having found paydirt for the third time in two-plus games. As a third-round pick out of Pittsburg State, Brown is exceeding expectations, and Sunday could be his official coming-out party.
However, Brown's six targets against San Francisco are the most he's received this year, with just nine in the two games before then. He's definitely a sleeper flex option, especially in deeper leagues, but it's tough to parade him as much more than that at the moment.
