John Oehser of Jaguars.com provides a synopsis of Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley discussing Allen Hurns' potential availability for Week 3:

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns was forced to sit out of practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury he suffered against the Washington Redskins.
John Oehser of Jaguars.com initially reported the injury on Sunday, and Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union passed along the latest on Hurns Wednesday:
During Week 1, Hurns—an undrafted rookie free agent—exploded for the Jaguars with four receptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers were dramatically reduced in Week 2, as he caught two passes for 13 yards.
Hurns sustained the injury on the final drive during the Jaguars' 41-10 loss to Washington. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley spoke about the decision to still pass the ball late with the game out of reach, per Mike DiRocco of ESPN.com:
"It didn't come up that way," Bradley said. "I think that the message to our team is we're going to compete every play. At the end of the game in that situation it was an unfortunate deal that took place, but that's our mindset."

Moving forward, much of the load will be placed on the running game and other rookie receivers. Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson will likely have a heightened role with Chad Henne under center, especially with Cecil Shorts ailing.
Tight end Marcedes Lewis is out six to eight weeks with an ankle injury, so the passing attack is already depleted in Jacksonville. If Hurns is forced to miss time, competing with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday will be even more difficult.
