DeMarco Murray, Joseph Randle's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
There is a clear starter in the Dallas Cowboys backfield, assuming he can hold onto the ball. Trying to decide who the handcuff option is remains a murky predicament, however.
DeMarco Murray continued to be an excellent fantasy option and arguably a RB1, as he rushed for 167 yards yards and a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans. Assuming he holds onto the ball—he already has lost two fumbles this year—he'll continue to put up big numbers for the Cowboys.
That's music to the ears of his fantasy owners, who should expect a heavy dosage of him from week to week. Steve Wyche of the NFL Network thinks the Cowboys are wise for leaning on him:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ah, but who will feature behind him?
In Week 1 Joseph Randle didn't so much as play a snap, per Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPNDallas.com, while Lance Dunbar received nine snaps and caught three passes for 21 yards. But in the first half against the Titans it was Randle who looked the superior option, rushing three times for 26 yards while Dunbar ran once and lost a yard.
Dunbar would finish with 11 carries for 27 yards, however, getting a nice workload in the second half while Randle didn't get a carry. So it would appear he remains the No. 2 option.
Still, should Murray go down Randle offers the bigger upside as he's the superior talent and runner. Dunbar has traditionally been considered the No. 2 option in the backfield, however, and that has been replicated thus far this year.
In other words, if Murray goes down Randle is the high-risk, high-reward target while Dunbar should see steadier touches from week to week. Murray owners and the Cowboys would simply prefer the dynamic runner stayed healthy, of course.
