Cleveland Browns Auctioning off All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Dinner with O-Line

Are you an NFL fan? Have you ever wanted to gorge yourself like it’s your professional responsibility to do so? 

If so, step right up and place your bid on a chance to dine with the Cleveland Browns offensive line this fall. 

Busted Coverage’s Joe Kinsey brings news of a number of online auctions the team is holding to benefit the Browns Foundation.

One of the main items on sale? An all-you-can-devour buffet experience with the Cleveland offensive line. 

According to BiddingForGood.com, the auction’s winner and three friends will join the team’s big-boy blockers for an afternoon of unbridled eating at the Browns' training facility. 

The auction description lays out the particulars and players involved: "You and three guests will eat like the players do. Guests will join Pro Bowl center Alex Mack and members of the Browns offensive line, including Mitchell Schwartz, Joel Bitonio and John Greco, for a buffet at the Browns Berea Training Facility."

The Browns claim that the players involved are subject to change (so you can hold out hope that Johnny Manziel stops by to give you a noogie), but it’ll likely be a feast among the trench warriors.

I, for one, am tantalized by this prospect. After reading up on the aggressive diets linemen develop in order to maintain weight—it’s an uphill battle for some—I’m intrigued to see the damage a pack of giant, professional man-throwers can wreak on a pasta bar. 

As of this writing, the current bid sits at $500—a price that will likely balloon by the auction’s 1 p.m. ET cutoff Wednesday afternoon.

Worry not if you miss out on the buffet, as the offer is just one of several player-fan interactions the Browns are auctioning off as part of the Cleveland Browns Foundation's first annual radiothon. 

The Plain Dealer's Patrick O'Donnell reports that the Browns Foundation hopes to raise $100,000 for at-risk youths in the Cleveland area. Foundation vice president Renee Harvey told O'Donnell the organization is excited to see what results the new fundraising approach will yield.

"The radiothon really serves as our first new fundraising tool," Harvey said. "The more we raise, the more we can give back to the community."

Other auctions include chances to attend a movie with tight end Jordan Cameron, play catch with quarterback Brian Hoyer and watch a Monday Night Football game with safety Donte Whitner. 

So, if you’re a Browns fan and you’re hungry for food and/or quality time with the team, go ahead and throw your wallet at your computer screen—because you can’t put a price on a pro football buffet.
