Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald Extends Reception Streak to 150 Games
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald extended his reception streak to 150 games with a 22-yard catch in the fourth quarter of Monday's 18-17 win over the San Diego Chargers, per Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910.
Fitzgerald nearly lost his impressive streak, as he didn't log an official target until the fourth quarter and didn't catch a pass until there were just four minutes and 11 seconds remaining in the game.
It was better late than never for the longtime Cardinal, as the lone reception moved his team to the San Diego 30-yard line on the game-winning touchdown drive.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Four plays later, rookie wide receiver John Brown caught a screen pass for a 13-yard touchdown, putting the Cardinals up 18-17 with 2:32 to play. Quarterback Carson Palmer looked for Fitzgerald on the ensuing two-point conversion, but while the 31-year-old wideout got a step ahead of Chargers cornerback Shareece Wright, the throw sailed out of bounds.
The Arizona defense came up with a big fourth-down stop on the Chargers' final drive, and running back Jonathan Dwyer then picked up a game-clinching first down.
Per Pro-Football-Reference.com's play index, Fitzgerald's streak is the 27th-longest of its kind in NFL history and the longest actively running. Following Fitzgerald on the list for ongoing streaks are Reggie Wayne (120), Andre Johnson (119), Brandon Marshall (116) and Roddy White (114).
While impressive, Fitzgerald's reception streak is far from the record of 282 games, set by none other than Jerry Rice.
