10th Anniversary of Derek Fisher's '0.4' Game-Winning Shot Against Spurs
Kyle NewportJun 8, 2018
Derek Fisher has won five NBA championships so far, but there is one moment that stands out above the rest in his 18-year career.
On May 13, 2004, Fisher hit his legendary "0.4" shot to give the Los Angeles Lakers the victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals.
The 39-year-old reflected back on the shot on its 10th anniversary:
Fisher's shot is the perfect example of how much time is needed to catch and shoot. Ten years later, this is still fresh in every NBA fan's mind.
The Lakers won the series in six games but eventually lost to the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals.
