Washington Wizards Sign 10-Year-Old with Cancer to 1-Day Deal

The Washington Wizards have signed a brand-new player to a one-day deal, and her story is pretty touching.
Meet Amaris Jackson, a 10-year-old girl with a rare kidney cancer knownย as renal cell carcinoma. The Wizards signed her to the team, and she apparently had a terrific time. Jackson attended the pregame shootaround, visited the locker room and led the Wizards onto the court.
You can see a few pictures from Jackson's day below.

John Wall also tweeted the following picture of him and Jackson, saying, "Had an awesome time wit my new teammate Amaris yesterday! Her positive attitude and energy definitely helped us get a win !! #MakeAWish #DreamsComeTrue #Wizards."
