Washington Wizards Sign 10-Year-Old with Cancer to 1-Day Deal

The Washington Wizards have signed a brand-new player to a one-day deal, and her story is pretty touching.

Meet Amaris Jackson, a 10-year-old girl with a rare kidney cancer known as renal cell carcinoma. The Wizards signed her to the team, and she apparently had a terrific time. Jackson attended the pregame shootaround, visited the locker room and led the Wizards onto the court.
