R. Cory SmithFeb 11, 2014

Life is good for Michael Jordan.

At 50 years old, Jordan is still considered the greatest player to ever grace a basketball court and is the owner of a Charlotte Bobcats team on the cusp of a playoff berth.

And on Tuesday night, it was revealed that his wife, Yvette, gave birth to identical twins, Victoria and Ysabel, according to SportsCenter's official Twitter account:

Jordan's spokeswoman Estee Portnoy confirmed the news with a statement, per The Associated Press:

"Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival."

Adam Jun of Chicago Side Sports congratulated the former Bulls superstar and gives a prediction for the two girls' futures:

The birth of the twins just so happens to come less than one week from Jordan's 51st birthday, which falls on Monday, Feb. 17.

The two daughters have three older siblings—two brothers and a sister.

Jeffrey Jordan, Michael's oldest son, is 25 years old and played for both the UCF and Illinois basketball teams. Marcus Jordan is 23 and also played for UCF from 2009-12.

21-year-old Jasmine Jordan is the third child from Jordan's previous marriage to Juanita Vanoy.

Michael and Yvette were married last April in Florida. Congratulations to both on their new additions to the family.
