Dennis Rodman Releases His Own Line of Vodka

Joe FlynnJun 4, 2018

Dennis Rodman is a man of many talents: Hall of Fame basketball player, noted author and great American statesman.

Now he can add "premium vodka maker" to that list.

Vodka seems like an odd choice of spirits for a dude nicknamed "The Worm," does it not? Aren't worms more often associated with tequila?

But perhaps tequila is not classy enough for Rodman. After all, he does consider himself to be on the shortlist for the Nobel Peace Prize, and vodka is really more of a classy, Nobel-worthy kind of booze. Rodman seems content to leave the tequila business to his fellow Peace Prize competitors.

Now that Rodman is in the vodka business, his well-known association with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un makes even more sense. After all, Kim Jong-un's father, Kim Jong-il, reportedly had a $1 million-per-year Hennessy habit, and his son has inherited his love of drink, according to Chosun Media:

"

According to diplomatic sources, the North recently imported sauna equipment from Finland and Germany. "Kim Jong-un likes to drink and party all night like his father and ordered the equipment to help him beat hangovers and fatigue," a source said. "Imports of wine and other spirits have increased since Kim Jong-il was in power."

"

Looks like The Worm is on course to not only win the Nobel, but also make a killing in North Korean vodka sales. Everything is coming up Rodman!
