Gary Kubiak Collapse Update: Latest News on Texans Head Coach's Health

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field during the Nov. 3 Sunday Night Football game against the Indianapolis Colts. Kubiak collapsed as the teams were leaving the field for halftime. Medical officials tended to him on the field before he was taken to a hospital.

Bob Kravitz of The Indianapolis Star noted where Kubiak went down and described the stunned, somber tone at Reliant Stadium:

After the game, Texans GM Rick Smith said Kubiak was in "stable" condition. On Monday, Nov. 4, it was reported he had suffered a mini-stroke. On Tuesday, Nov. 5, he was cleared to leave the hospital, but Wade Phillips served as interim head coach for Week 10.
