4 Reasons You Need NBA League Pass

Matt KingOct 16, 2013

The NBA season is chomping at the bit to get started, and NBA fans are acting likewise. All signs indicate that this season is going to be incredibly exciting, and I can't wait.

If you're a huge NBA fan like myself, you probably already have League Pass, but just in case you were on the fence, here are four reasons you need to order it immediately.

Young Talent

1 of 4

On Tuesday, Grantland outlined why you should be watching John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins this year. And they're absolutely right. Both these guys are about to have a breakout year, and you don't want to miss it.

Sadly, the Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings are not exactly a prime draw. The nationally televised games they'll be playing will be few and far between. And that goes for other rising must-watch stars like Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis.

Load up your League Pass with young, hungry teams with top-flight talent and you won't be disappointed.

Watch Your Home Team Away from Home

2 of 4

I live in California now, but I hail from North Carolina. That's great, except when I want to watch my beloved Charlotte Bobcats play.

Without League Pass, who knows how many incredibly athletic Michael Kidd-Gilchrist moves I may have missed. Sure they may not win a ton of games, but they're my team and I want to watch and support them. I'm certainly not going to be able to do that any other way.

Game Replays

3 of 4

Did you miss someone from one of your League Pass teams going off for 60 points because you were at a wedding? Or in a wedding? Don't worry, because League Pass has got the replay.

Don't get stuck trying to watch the highlights the next day to see one minute of action when you can speed through the whole game yourself whenever you want.

Basketball on Your Phone

This is self-explanatory, especially if you're someone like me who has to commute two hours on a train every day. If you're not in front of a television but want to watch a game, you're covered.

Phone, tablet, whatever. As long as you have some sort of smart device in your hands, you'll never be without live NBA action ever again.
