Bennett is a compact, 6'7'' forward with exceptional upper-body strength and a frame built for contact. He's what I like to call a power athlete because of his vicious explosiveness attacking the rim. 

But along with his power comes speed and agility. Bennett can fly down the court and face the rim from the perimeter.

Potential Weaknesses

Anthony Bennett's physical prowess made him a standout draft prospect, but now that he's in the league, he needs to improve his defensive demeanor. He seemed lazy and inattentive at times at UNLV, so he needs to work on his assertiveness and awareness.

NBA Player Comparison 

Due to his strong frame and ability to thrive on the interior and perimeter, Bennett's ceiling compares to All-Star and UNLV product Larry Johnson in his prime.

If he doesn't become an elite superstar, we still think his basement is in the neighborhood of a guy like Paul Millsap—a fringe All-Star combo forward. 

Pro Predictions 

As soon as his rookie season tips off, Bennett will give his club a boost with his offensive versatility, power and rebounding. He is certainly starter material, and if he's given enough touches, he could score 12-15 points per game.

In the long term, the outlook is even brighter for the 20-year-old prodigy.

He'll become increasingly more comfortable as a decision-maker and offensive weapon, so Bennett is on track for stardom if he is willing to put in the work. His end-to-end impact is already superb, and it's only going to get better.
