Why Don't the Redskins Just Go Get Greg Paulus?
I mean, how ridiculous can this team be? The Washington Redskins are doing all they can to communicate that they do not want Jason Campbell, a quarterback that, save for 10 teams in the NFL, every other squad would love to have competing for a starting job. First, it was the rumors about Jay Cutler, whom they would’ve had if Daniel Snyder had more draft picks.
Now, the silent yelling is about drafting Mark Sanchez, a guy who appears to have the physical tools but will surely be a building project in an offense the entire team is still learning in Year Two of the Jim Zorn era.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So why don’t they just throw Greg Paulus’ name into the fray? Apparently, a couple of people believe he’s a decent quarterback.
He’s everything Daniel Snyder could want in a quarterback. A locally-controversial name that is sure to draw national media attention, a guy who is white enough and clean cut enough to sell season tickets to rabid Redskins fans, and an expert at getting knocked on his back and humbled regularly by athletes far smaller than the ones he would face behind the Skins’ shoddy offensive line.
It’s too good to be true, really.
If Snyder is going to totally disrespect Jason Campbell and Redskins fans this way, the least he and Vinny Cerrato could do is jump all the way out there and commit to a QB with far fewer expectations out of college, for a far more affordable price than the 13th pick in the draft. They owe Skins fans that much, at least for all of these off-season hi-jinks.
Hail indeed.
