Rams Beat Eagles, Box Score Stats, Highlights for Stafford, Hurts, Saquon, Puka, Top Players
Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams are magicians.
Or the Philadelphia Eagles snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Depends on your perspective.
Los Angeles overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter for a dramatic 24-20 victory over the Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. Kyren Williams scored the two fourth-quarter touchdowns for the victors, while the Rams defense didn't allow Jalen Hurts and Co. to score a single point in the second half.
The Rams are 2-2 as a result, while the 2-2 Eagles have lost two in a row after going 0-of-12 on third downs.

The star-studded Rams were on the short list of realistic Super Bowl contenders coming into the season, but it has been a disappointing start for a club that was without both Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald on Sunday.
Still, they had a golden opportunity to pick up a head-to-head win against a fellow NFC contender in the Eagles, who were playing without DeVonta Smith, Lane Johnson, Dallas Goedert and Zack Baun. The health concerns became even more dire when star running back Saquon Barkley suffered a hamstring injury in the first quarter.
Despite the injuries, Philadelphia was the better team in the first half.
Hurts threw two touchdown passes to Darius Cooper with the first one coming on an unbelievable leaping catch and the second one coming in the final seconds before halftime. What's more, the Eagles defense picked off Stafford twice with Cooper DeJean and Andrew Mukuba each notching an interception.
It wasn't all bad news for the Rams, as Puka Nacua made an excellent catch and also scored a rushing touchdown in his return after missing the previous two games, but Philadelphia was in full control in the early going.
Halftime didn't change things for the Rams offense.
Los Angeles punted twice, missed a Harrison Mevis field goal and turned it over on downs on its first four possessions after intermission. Making matters worse was its defense was playing well and keeping it within striking distance, as it even stopped a fourth-down tush push inside Eagles' territory.
Alas, Stafford and Co. were unable to turn it into points as the frustrations mounted.
Yet even with the Rams offense playing as poorly as possible, they still had an opportunity in crunch time with their defense keeping Hurts and the Eagles out of the end zone with another fourth-down stop. This one was inside the Rams' 5-yard line and highlighted the overall offensive ugliness of the entire game.
The ugliness, that is, until the Rams flipped the switch.
Stafford directed a 98-yard touchdown drive and a 79-yard touchdown drive with Williams scoring both times. It was an incredible turnaround and gave a Los Angeles team that needed plenty of momentum a boost heading into a high-profile showdown with the Buffalo Bills.
As for the Eagles, they are trending in the wrong direction as they head to London to face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
