Timberwolves Mock Miami Heat Harlem Shake with Refreshing Meme Parody

If you have had just about enough of the ubiquitous Harlem Shake videos, you will enjoy this particular take from the Minnesota Timberwolves. 

By now, all of you have seen the Harlem Shake in one form or another. Hell, many of you have actually been featured in your own video. 

Last week, the Miami Heat performed their own version over which the world fell head over heels, including ESPN, as noted by Deadspin. 

For those fortunate souls, here is the Heat rendition: 

I do have to say, even after a week of seeing this thing, it holds up well. 

If there is one team Harlem Shake that's worthy of your time and fun to watch, this is the one. And that's coming from a guy who was over this meme about three seconds after it started. 

So it was surprising to me that it's taken this long for a team to do what the Timberwolves did. There is something very soothing about seeing a Harlem Shake video come to a violent end. 

It satisfies that frustrating itch we have all been wanting to scratch. 

Bravo to the Timberwolves for bringing the mania to a hilarious end, because we certainly enjoyed their take. 

Still, had they actually beaten the Heat on Monday, this would have gone over a shade better. As it were, Miami had the last laugh.
