Shaqstradamus: Can LeBron James Repeat as NBA's MVP?

Josh MartinJun 8, 2018

Shaquille O'Neal has many talents. He acts, he raps, he dances—he's a triple-threat, if you will. He can enforce the law and conduct a symphony orchestra with equal proficiency. He's quotable, which makes him a solid fit with Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson on TNT's Inside the NBA.

Rumor has it, Shaq was also pretty good at basketball once upon a time. Just a hunch, though.

Unbeknownst to most—until now—is that the Big Diesel is something of a clairvoyant. It only figures that a Renaissance man of O'Neal's cultural, social and physical stature would also know a thing or two about predicting the future.

And so, the man of a thousand hats (and nicknames) has added one more to his already-impressive collection. In the first of many Bleacher Report cameos to come, "Shaqstradamus" pontificates on LeBron James' MVP chances.

Will the Miami Heat superstar and 2012 champion walk away with yet another statuette? Or will a worthy challenger (Kevin Durant, Chris Paul) foil LeBron's quest to become the first person since Bill Russell to snag four MVP trophies in five years?

Only Shaqstradamus knows, and soon enough, so will you!
