NBA Free Agents Who Will Cash in

A contract year is a good thing. If you play up to it.

These key NBA free agents are doing just that, putting together strong seasons that raise their potential asking price with each made basket, rebound grabbed and win share notched.

It's not all about "max contract" guys either. Only a handful of players in the league can command that type of money, and there aren't many to chose from this coming offseason, especially with the ever-more-stringent luxury tax penalties looming.

Instead, we'll see a larger number of "second tier" free agents who can haul in anywhere between $8-12 million per year, along with a bunch of key role players who are due for a major raise.
