Watch Jordan Crawford's Deep 3-Ball to Beat Portland Trail Blazers at Buzzer
The Washington Wizards are riding a hot wave, this time with a 98-95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers and at the hands of Jordan Crawford with a huge three-pointer at the buzzer Monday night.
Washington and Portland found themselves in the midst of a back-and-forth game all night long at the Rose Garden, the biggest lead being an eight-point lead by Portland late in the second quarter. The second half was all a see-saw.
Portland looked to be on the verge of the victory, or at least forcing overtime after back-to-back possessions saw a Damian Lillard layup and a Wes Matthews three-pointer tie the game at 95-all.

In the end, it wasn't John Wall. It wasn't even Bradley Beal who got the last shot.
Crawford almost inexplicably pulled up for a three, with plenty of time left on the clock to find a better look. But lucky for him, the shot fell, and the world went crazy:

"Jordan Crawford just burned the Rose Garden to the ground.

The Wizards found the guy with the hot hand at just the right time, and it worked out for them:

And even better for the Wizards, they spoiled Nicolas Batum's huge night, who picked up a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and two blocks:
"Blazers F Nic Batum on his triple double: "That doesn't count, we got swept by the Wizards."

In the end, it was another win for the Wizards since the return of John Wall, who missed the team's first 33 games with a stress injury in his kneecap. Washington has now won four of six since their point guard's return, and five of seven overall.
