In a battle of teams with long winning streaks, the Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the Denver Nuggets, 117-97, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Wednesday night.
With the win, the Thunder, who are now 31-8 overall and 19-3 at home, extended their win streak to five games. The Nuggets saw their six-game win streak come to an end as they fell to 24-17.
Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma City, which jumped out to an 18-point first quarter lead and never looked back, with 32 points while Kevin Durant and Kevin Martin each added 20. The Thunder shot a scorching 51.8 percent from the field.

Not only did the dynamic point guard lead the Thunder with 32 points, but he did it in an efficient manner (12-of-20 from the field, 8-of-9 from the free-throw line).
Moreover, he added two rebounds, four assists, a steal and led the starters with a plus/minus of plus-17.
Durant comes in a close second place with 20 points, four assists, five steals and a plus-13.
