Loser Lakers Blasted with 'Big Boy Pants' Joke from Rockets Announcer

The Lakers have just pooped their big boy pants, according to Rockets announcer Craig Ackerman, who hit the Lakers with pretty much the perfect joke for their current lot. 

Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the 2012 portion of the Lakers' season, one wherein the coaches come and go like holiday shoppers and the star players fill the bench as much as they do the actual court. 

On Tuesday night, the star-studded L.A. Lakers with a fluid offense that is supposed to have them run and gun blew a flat tire at the worst moment, eventually losing to the Rockets 107-105. 

Yahoo! Sports spotted this video featuring the wonderful call of Ackerman right at the end of the game, making a clear reference to Kobe Bryant's claim that Pau Gasol needed to put on his "big boy pants" if he wanted to play in Mike D' Antoni's system. 

Well, if the rest of the gang are wearing them, they just soiled themselves. 

The Lakers had a 13-point lead with under 10 minutes to go in the game, but they ran out of gas. They came into the season with a ridiculous amount of talent but sit at a hilarious 8-10. 

As a Lakers loyalist for so long, this is some deep pants the team finds itself in currently. 

This is worse than anything Smush Parker could ever accomplish, or anything Randy Pfund could coach. 

Maybe it just feels that way because it's here and now, and even the Rockets announcers are pointing in the Purple and Gold's general direction to make fun. 

The Lakers are a joke.
