Kentucky's Prized Freshman Nerlens Noel Takes Nasty Fall After Slam Dunk Fail

Good job, Kentucky. You almost went and broke Nerlens Noel. 

With a tremendous gasp from the huge crowd watching,  Noel began his time with the Kentucky Wildcats by scaring the life out of every last fan watching. 

This video spotted by Yahoo! Sports features a freshman who promises to be one of the best collegiate players once the season gets underway. 

But first, will someone please pick him off the ground? 

Noel was playing a spirited game of hoops against some kids as a way of thanking all of the fans who camped out to get tickets to the Big Blue Madness event. 

Little did they know that they were almost witness to something quite tragic. Noel goes up for a two-handed slam dunk and somehow loses his balance. 

He falls back onto his back in a terrifying tumble that is accompanied by a score that sounded like one huge crowd taking a deep breath all at once. 

Rest assured, as Yahoo! Sports reports, Noel is doing just fine.

Luckily Noel was uninjured, as was the boy he landed on in the fall.

Oh yeah. It may have taken a few views of this video to see it, but there was a poor boy underneath that giant basketball player. 

Fortunately that unlucky kid was just fine after this tumble. He now deserves an MVP award for breaking the fall of one of the most prized recruits in the nation.
