Michael Jordan Auctioning Off Signed American Express Card
Michael Jordan is handing over more than control of the team, he is now auctioning off a signed American Express card as well.
There were recent reports that Jordan was giving up a great deal of the basketball decisions of the Charlotte Bobcats to general manager Rich Cho.
Now comes word that his AMEX card is being auctioned off. What a sweetheart.
Here is the card, as tweeted out by ESPN's Darren Rovell.
"Michael Jordan's AMEX card being sold in @goldinauctions auction next month twitter.com/darrenrovell/s…

There isn't much information out there, but we did find this link to a Gold in Auctions lot for Jordan's signed card, with a picture of the back of the card as well.
That link also gives us a little more detail about the auction that will apparently start on October 10 and has a minimum bid of $1,000.
That's a lot of coin to own a card that purchased what I assume to be a great many Hanes T-shirts with bacon-neck fighting technology.
The card has long-since expired, so you can't go spending frivolously on the next Kwame Brown-like prospect out there.
If you are in the market for a used card that was once in the wallet of the greatest of all time, it seems you have about a month to break all of your piggy banks.
