Dwight Howard Blocks Shots at Shanghai Station Pop-a-Shot

Gabe ZaldivarJun 1, 2018

Dwight Howard decided to use that world-class defense to beat a kid at pop-a-shot.

The horror.

CBS Los Angeles spotted this wonderful video of a sports star cheating in a harmless bout of good fun. This will probably not sit well with the Orlando market.

Howard was in China on Wednesday to endorse his Adidas line of shoes and stopped by, what the YouTube description refers to as, Shanghai Station.

The report continues:

"

This Chinese kid was destroying him so bad, Howard started to use his height advantage to block his shots.

Two weeks ago, Howard claimed his back was too sore to attend his own camp in Orlando – or maybe because he was no longer with the Magic.

Well, his back looks to be fine since he sat through a flight that is twice as far than Orlando.

"

Eesh.

As you can see, it will take a great deal more goodwill for him to clear his name with American sports fans, but he is doing just fine in China.

The crowd seems to be enjoying watching the star center throw up some silly shots, while he gets destroyed in the only pickup basketball game that mandates you also have a beer or pizza slice in the non-shooting hand.

I have no idea if Howard won or not, but his reaction afterward seems to illustrate that he may have stolen this game—this one shot at fame for a Chinese kid.

Don't walk into the pop-a-shot paint against D12, or you are going to get stuffed.
