UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Florida baseball: A fantastic sweep of No. 8 Louisville opening weekend is a great way to start the season. And then jumped 13 spots in the rankings. In midweek news, Riley Cooper (yes, from the football team) hit a grand slam.
The Florida Times-Union had a good season preview, focusing on Josh Adams. The Miami Herald's season preview focuses on the mix of youth and veterans on the Gator roster.
Total Sports Domination: No. 2 Florida softball recently notched wins over No. 6 Michigan and No. 3 (defending champion) Arizona State. Women's swimming won their 17th SEC Championship. No. 15 UF Women's basketball routed USC on Senior Day, stopping a recent three-game losing streak.
This Gainesville Sun notebook notes UF gymnast Melanie Sinclair (UF gymnastics is No. 6) was named SEC Gymnast of the week, and No. 7 Men's tennis' Carlos Cueto was named SEC Freshman of the week.
In case you missed it, here's the Orlando Sentinel Bernie Machen interview, which got many people riled up (again) about the BCS, and started the discussion of Urban Meyer's future.
And some extra quotes that didn't make the piece. Oh, and should Florida go the coach-in-waiting route?
Mike Tomlin told Ben Roethlisberger he 'looked like Tim Tebow'.
Tim Tebow, at a fundraiser, made a comment about beating Georgia—again.
Florida Football was called one of 12 'true destination jobs' in this piece in Sports Illustrated.
ESPN SEC blogger Chris Low lists five things he hates about the SEC (Florida-Georgia traffic is just being whiny, leave your hotel earlier) and mentions the fact Charlie Strong is not a head coach yet.
Gatorsfirst agrees. And of the five things he loves about the SEC, he lists the Tebow jump pass. I'm partial to TEBOW SMASH!, myself. And since I'm linking the same guy a lot, here's his piece on the SEC having the most early enrollees.
This Carl Johnson situation could be a mess. On the one hand, Meyer has a history of (rightly) being very stern with anything involving violence, etc toward women... but all of the coverage has been very one-sided so far.
If he's at all guilty, get rid of him, and all that... but it's amazing we could be losing a projected starter at a position where we actually aren't returning starters (OT) and it would not be getting more coverage so far. Another blog on the subject.
2009 Florida Football: Five questions. The 'Percy' position is up in the air. Percy's shoes are among the biggest to fill in the SEC. What to watch this spring. Florida football season ticket information.
Could Percy Harvin be a RB in the NFL? News on Florida prospects at the NFL combine. Oh yeah, Percy Harvin is good.
Recruiting: Still depressed about Nu'Keese Richardson? First of all, why? Second of all check out how overboard the UT folks are going on this. Then remember as cool as it would have been to sign him, we'd have forgotten about him by now and still be gushing over Andre Debose.
It's a product of how little UT football has had to celebrate over the last, uh, decade?
Remember that last TE recruit that hasn't signed yet, Orson Charles? Forget about him.
Another recruiting piece, this one tries to get cute and tie signing day '09 with the Oscars. Some 2010 prospects are from all over the nation.
GatorCountry's Buddy Martin calls the last 4 years a 'dream' for Gator fans.
Fred Taylor was cut by the Jags- this piece explores his NFL Hall of Fame credentials (which would put him in consideration for the Ring of Honor at UF)
T.O. (yes, the Cowboys/Eagles/49ers/pain killers guy) was in Gainesville last week.
Any thoughts???
