Viral Video Breakdown: Team USA, Kyrie Irving and Hottest Clips of the Week

Gabe ZaldivarJun 7, 2018

Kyrie Irving ran his mouth, Anthony Davis taunted his old coach and we have another collection of hilarity to sift through.

The best of the week is here, wrapped up with a nice little bow on it.

Many proclaimed the week a dud with the All-Star break and the lack of baseball being played, but I say hogwash.

As you will see, there were plenty of fine moments to keep us scintillated as we pass our time in front of this Internet machine.

Come with me on a trek of the absurd, the best and brightest moments in the form of viral videos.

If you have a suggestion for the breakdown or just want to chime in with how the latest week went down, let your thoughts be known in the section below.

Let's get to a swagtastic week of videos.

Russian Reporter Gets Owned

1 of 10

In Russia, cars take you for a ride.

The video shows a reporter doing his duty for the Russian show Auto Exotica. Apparently, the job description entails reporting far too closely to drifting cars.

One of them goes rogue and takes him out. Somehow, he escapes with minor injuries.

Kyrie Irving Goes off on NBA Stars

2 of 10

Kyrie Irving gets silly with the basketball and breaks some very famous ankles. You can bet there is a future for this reigning Rookie of the Year.

Blake Griffin also features, doing what he does best. It's a shame we won't see these ridiculous dunks in London as he is out with a knee injury.

Tightrope Fail

3 of 10

Chinese Dawa Zi tightrope walker Aisikaier attempts to walk a up backwards while blindfolded. Let me spoil the ending by telling you he doesn't succeed.

He falls 200 meters but somehow survives. And this, my friends, is why tightropes are not an acceptable form of public transportation.

Brow Down

4 of 10

Anthony Davis is being thrown into the fire. He gets called up to the US Men's team after Blake Griffin goes down, but he isn't the least bit timid.

The former Kentucky standout drains a three, gets fouled and makes sure his old coach, John Calipari, recognizes the feat.

Super Bike Doh!

5 of 10

The phrase finish what you started never meant so much.

Riccardo Russo was dominating in the 2012 Italian CIV championship race in Mugello. So much that he thought there wasn't possibly a chance there could be one more lap.

Watch as he goes Usain Bolt and goes into a victory lap early. Only, he loses the race, badly.

Half-Court Mayhem

6 of 10

We spotted this video over at BroBible this week and just had to post it. It was taken a year ago, but that hardly makes any less dramatic.

Adam Beatrice harnesses his inner Ray Allen and makes it rain from deep, like really deep, cashing in on the world record for shots from half court.

Call Me Maybe, in Bikinis

7 of 10

I know. I hate Call Me Maybe videos as much as you. Really, the only people in love with this stuff are the ones making them.

Unfortunately, there are a few out there. Here is an acceptable one, largely because it deals heavy in the cheerleaders in bikinis trade.

London football team Crystal Palace FC promotes their team with a horrible song, but some divine ladies.

A 1-on-1 We Would Pay to See

8 of 10

Kyrie Irving was on the US Select Team, facing off against the greatest in practice. Here he is causing the Black Mamba to get the giggles.

Kobe Bryant trash talks Irving, and the end results is a 1-on-1 game promised to be played once the young man grows up.

Apparently this takes a year.

Michigan Football's Dynamic Duo

9 of 10

Here for your viewing pleasure, we present two football players who have some skills off the field.

JDK and Rey are actually Wolverines' backup quarterback Jack Kennedy and receiver Joe Reynolds. as you can see, this is hardly the farce you would think would come from two athletes living out a hobby.

These two can actually perform. Well, I guess that depends on your school loyalty.

Ken Block Tears Up San Francisco

10 of 10

Ken Block lives the dream of every boy who sat with their Hot Wheels and imagined doing what ever they wanted in a real car in a real city.

Here is a video of just that, as Block has free reign of the San Francisco. The results are beyond belief, and there is even a Travis Pastrana cameo.
