Nike Hyperdunk Plus: New Basketball Shoes Are Not Worth Your Hard Earned Cash

Nicholas GossJun 29, 2012

If you want to look good this summer while playing basketball amongst friends, or in real competition, don't by the new Nike Hyperdunk Plus shoes.

Nike makes the best basketball shoes, but these just aren't worth the money when the company has far better shoes available.

These Hyperdunk shoes don't give me the support that I need to feel comfortable on the court. I would rather have my shoes be very tight and not have much wiggle room between my feet and the shoe.

Your movement will be better if you go with another Nike shoe.

The design of this shoe isn't great, which for many people is something to be concerned about. Previous Hyperdunks have looked much more interesting from a color scheme and overall design standpoint.

Here is a list of NBA player shoes from Nike that are a better buy than these new Hyperdunks.

  • Kevin Durant
  • Kobe Bryant
  • LeBron James

If there was a red, white, and blue edition of these shoes that has a Team USA kind of look made for sale, you may consider it.

But these new Hyperdunk Plus shoes are not worth the price as they are now, which according to Nike.com is $140.

There are better Nike shoes that will make you look better and feel better on the court than the Hyperdunks.
