Anthony Davis Trademarks Phrases Surrounding His Infamous Unibrow
For all of you who think Anthony Davis should shave off his unibrow, you have another thing coming.
Davis, Kentucky's superstar freshman expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft, has reportedly trademarked several phrases related to his unibrow. The hyped big man hasn't even entered the pros and he's already a marketing genius.
According to CBSSports.com, Davis has trademarked "Fear the Brow" and "Raise the Brow," two popular sayings when Kentucky went on its title run last season. Given the amount of money he's likely to earn with these phrases, it's unlikely that he's going to be shaving off that unibrow anytime soon.

Davis averaged 14.2 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.7 blocks in his freshman season with the Wildcats. He averaged 13.7 points, 12.3 rebounds and 4.8 blocks in the NCAA tournament.
But as dazzling as his play was on the court last season, and despite his incredible potential, there's been an overwhelming amount of buzz about his unibrow in the past year. Will he shave it? Why does he still have it despite the unbecoming jokes at his unibrow's expense? Does he enjoy the attention? Or does he actually really like that...that thing.
Well, regardless of whether he likes his unibrow, he's going to love it down the line, as he markets it like LeBron James marketed "King James" and "The Chosen One."
Beyond the marketing genius, I actually like what Davis is doing. It's like he's saying, "I don't care what anyone thinks of my unibrow. And, honestly, there are more meaningful things to be concerned about in this world, people. Get over it and watch me and my unibrow dominate...as one."
So, as NBA players "Fear the Brow," Davis will be laughing all the way to the bank.
