Fantasy Hoops Waiver-Wire Bin: Vol. 13
I’ve scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.
Mario Chalmers, Miami
The rookie has had ups and downs this year. Right now he’s on an upswing.
In his last five games he’s averaging 12.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.4 steals, and 2.2 three-pointers. He shot 50 percent from the field, 92.3 percent from the line, and 55 percent from downtown.
He has a $2.60M SN cap number, and is owned in 26.1 percent of ESPN and 51 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Forwards
Ryan Anderson, New Jersey
Anderson has played well of late.
In his last four games he’s averaging 14.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.8 blocks, and 2.3 three-pointers. He shot 51.4 percent from the field, 90 percent from the line, and 56.3 percent from three. He qualifies at PF & C.
He has a $1.29M SN Cap number, and is owned in 1 percent of ESPN and 10 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Joey Graham, Toronto
The Swingman qualifies at both SG & SF. I wanted to get him in there because he may have slid under the radar.
He hasn’t lived up to his draft status (16th pick), but he’s finally showing a little more this year.
In his last five games he’s averaging 13.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.8 steals. He shot 59.1 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the line.
He has a SN cap number of $0.50M, and is owned in 0.6 percent of ESPN and 4 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Centers
JaVale McGee, Washington
Washington is terrible, but terrible teams often turn out decent fantasy players because someone has to score, rebound, etc.
The rookie has picked up his play this past week averaging 10.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks while shooting 51.5 percent from the floor and 87.5 percent from the line.
He’s been even better over his past three games scoring in double-figures each game. He qualifies at PF & C.
He has a SN cap number of $0.50M, and is owned in 1.9 percent of ESPN and 5 percent of Yahoo leagues.
