Scott Hall Arrested: Former WWE Star Arrested for Alleged Domestic Assault

A wrestling legend has seen better days.

According to TMZ, Scott Hall was charged with domestic assault on Friday after allegedly choking out his girlfriend Lisa Howell in a drunken dispute. Here is a sample of the report (via TMZ):

According to Lisa, Scott had been drinking for days and the two had gotten into some kind of argument. Lisa says she got into her car, and in a blind rage, Scott grabbed her by the throat and tried to pull her out of the driver's seat.

According to the report, police confronted Scott -- who appeared heavily intoxicated with an "unknown white secretion flowing from both sides of his mouth" -- but he denied ever getting violent.

Police observed several signs of physical injury on Lisa -- including red marks around her neck -- so they placed Scott under arrest for domestic battery.

This is a scary development considering Scott stands at 6’7’’ and 287 pounds. His sheer strength was one of the reasons the Razor Ramon was such a big star in the WWE world. He was also known as The Diamond Studd, Starship Coyote and Texas Scott during his tenure.

The Florida native is also known for being one of the three original members of the nWo stable alongside Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. He held the WWF Intercontinental Championship on four separate occasions and the WCW World Tag Team Championship seven times.

He has been dealing with alcoholism and drug issues since the late 2000s, highlighted by a drug overdose in April of 2011.

The craziest part of the story is that it took the cops TWO set of handcuffs to subdue a man that was clearly out of his mind. 

Howell has refused to press charges, which means the case may be dismissed. We’ll keep you updated as this story develops.
