Florida Basketball: Gators Guard Erving Walker Arrested for Grand Theft Taco
There have been some embarrassing arrests made in this world, but if you're former Florida Gators guard Erving Walker, it doesn't get much worse than this.
In one of the more outlandish arrests you will ever read about, Walker was arrested Friday for stealing a taco and running from police, according to USA Today.
Gainesville Police said Walker ordered a $3 taco from a street vendor, received his food and began running away with the taco without paying a dime.

You can't make this stuff up.
After a police officer caught up with Walker, the former Gator kept going. He was charged and arrested for petty theft and resisting an officer without violence. He was not, however, taken to jail for his two misdemeanors.
What in the world was Walker thinking? The Gators' all-time leading assists man said he was just "playing around," according to the report. If he was just "playing around," you would think he would run back seconds after taking off, right?
Something doesn't make sense here.
This is one of the more ridiculous arrests you will ever read about from a known athlete. The economy may be worse than we thought.
Walker averaged 12.1 points, 4.7 assists and 2.8 rebounds in his senior year at Florida. His Gators lost to Louisville in the Elite Eight last Saturday.
Walker is scheduled to appear in court April 19.
