Power Ranking the NBA Uniforms in Dire Need of Updating
Let me start this NBA jersey bashfest off by saying that this article is obviously completely opinionated. As they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure—and that is certainly the case with NBA jerseys.
No fan likes to hear that their team's jerseys suck. That is just a fact of life.
This article is not intended to bash on certain NBA team's jerseys, but rather to give some constructive criticism in hope that one day the owners of these teams will update their jerseys.
Keep in mind that except for one team on this list, there will only be one jersey from the teams that are included, whether that be the home or away jersey.
So read on to find out seven NBA uniforms in dire need of updating.
6. Denver Nuggets Home and Away Jerseys
1 of 6Being from Colorado, I have been to many Denver Nuggets games. The main thing that bothers me about watching all of these games is the fact of how much I hate the Nuggets' jerseys.
It does not matter if Denver is sporting its away or home jerseys, both are ugly to me.
Maybe it is just the combination of baby blue and yellow, but who knows.
The jersey that Alex English rocked for the Nuggets was legendary, and the Nuggets should bring those jerseys back...for good.
5. Memphis Grizzlies Home Jerseys
2 of 6There really isn't anything wrong when the Grizzlies rock their pin stripe home jerseys, but their plain white t's are just that, plain.
It's not like this jersey is ugly or anything, there just really isn't anything special about it. You would think that a team would want to stand out, but that definitely isn't going to happen when Memphis wears these jerseys.
4. Utah Jazz Home Jerseys
3 of 6I have never really been a fan of the Utah Jazz's jerseys, but their home jerseys now are just wrong.
To be honest, they really wouldn't look that bad if the player numbers weren't green. How does that fit into Utah's team color scheme? That's right, it doesn't.
I understand that the Jazz have a green alternate jersey, but they should keep the green to that jersey only.
3. Philadelphia 76ers Home Jerseys
4 of 6There was nothing wrong with the Philadelphia 76ers' old jerseys. I am talking about the classic ones that Allen Iverson made famous.
Those jerseys were amazing.
Change can definitely be a good thing, but not in this case. If the 76ers were smart, they would go back to their old home jerseys.
2. Boston Celtics Home Jerseys
5 of 6The Boston Celtics' away jerseys are one of a kind. Too bad Boston's home jerseys are nowhere near as cool.
If the Celtics' home jerseys had more green in them, they wouldn't be so bad. They are just way too plain, even if they have been a part of Boston's history since the beginning of time.
Some modernization wouldn't hurt the Celtics...in the jersey department that is.
1. Chicago Bulls Home Jerseys
6 of 6Just like the Boston Celtics, the Chicago Bulls have very impressive away jerseys, but less than mediocre home jerseys.
Where is the swag?
The Bulls' home jerseys are almost identical to the Celtics' home jerseys, except for the obvious fact that the Bulls have red instead of green in their jerseys.
The Bulls are one of the most exciting teams to watch in the NBA right now, and some flashy home jerseys would make them that much more exciting to watch.
