2012 NFL Mock Draft: 7 Rounds After the Combine with Team-by-Team Analysis

Scott CarasikJun 2, 2018

Welcome to the first post-combine mock that I have done for the 2012 season. I'm going to do this a bit backwards by getting into a team by team analysis for every pick, and I'll finish it up with full seven round mock draft.

Now, a couple of things I do when I make a mock is I project who a team would pick in that situation. I also take into account that trades are more or less ridiculous to predict and if I could predict one, especially this early, I would be better than anyone out there.

The team analysis will be posted and will go over the following topics: The first is what the needs are for that particular team. Secondly, we will list the picks from the mock draft. And then finally, we'll analyze with 1-2 sentences on each pick and why it makes sense. For each individual team, we will be profiling the whole class.

If you have any comments or questions, feel free to make one here. I will gladly respond to every comment or question made. Now, the seven round mock will take into account the needs and drafting practices of the teams.

Arizona Cardinals

2 of 33

Team Needs:

Offensive Tackle, Wide Receiver, Inside Linebacker, Defensive End, Outside Linebacker, Offensive Guard, Cornerback depth, backup Quarterback, backup Nose Tackle, Kicker and Punter.

The picks:

13 Arizona Cardinals - OT Mike Adams - Ohio State - 6'6" 320

81 Arizona Cardinals - DE Trevor Guyton - California - 6'3" 285

112 Arizona Cardinals - OLB Shea McClellin - Boise State - 6'3" 258

143 Arizona Cardinals - WR DeVier Posey - Ohio State - 6'1" 205

174 Arizona Cardinals - ILB Vontaze Burfict - Arizona State - 6'3" 245

205 Arizona Cardinals - QB G.J. Kinne - Tulsa - 6'1" 215

Why Arizona goes this route:

Mike Adams will be an upgrade over the Levi Brown experiment, as he has the experience at Left Tackle. Guyton is a great fit for the 3-4 DE role that he will be playing for Arizona. McClellin is a good blitzer and would be perfect in the "Blitzburgh 3-4" that is run in Arizona. Posey will be a good slot receiver for the Cardinals to team with Roberts and possibly replace Doucet. Burfict falls because of a large amount of character issues and could be the Ray Lewis style inside linebacker that could he get his act together. Kinne is a pick made to be a long term backup for Kevin Kolb because guys like Max Hall should not be starting NFL games.

Atlanta Falcons

3 of 33

Team Needs:

Left Tackle, Offensive Guard, Defensive End, Center, Cornerback depth, Running Back depth, future Tight End, slot and #4 WR, Linebacker depth, Safety depth and Return Specialist

The picks:

55 Atlanta Falcons - TE Coby Fleener - Stanford - 6'6" 250

85 Atlanta Falcons - DE Jake Bequette - Arkansas - 6'5" 265

149 Atlanta Falcons - LT Andrew Datko - Florida State - 6'6" 321

182 Atlanta Falcons - WR Devon Wylie - Fresno State - 5'10" 178

213 Atlanta Falcons - C Garth Gerhart - Arizona State - 6'1" 305

Why Atlanta goes this route:

Atlanta takes Fleener in the first as a TE who can learn from Gonzalez for a year and then take over as a starter. Bequette makes sense as he is a true pass rushing DE with the ability to gain some more size and becoming a 3-down defensive end. Datko has the ability to be a long term solution at LT but will have to sit behind Svitek for a year. Devon Wylie will remind a lot of people of Erik Weems as a return man and a #4 WR. Garth Gerhart is a guy who has a lot of Todd McClure in him as he is an underrated but very technical center. He has long term starter potential.

Baltimore Ravens

4 of 33

Team Needs:

Left Tackle, Center, slot Wide Receiver, Outside Linebacker, future Inside Linebacker, Running Back depth, Safety depth, Offensive Guard depth and Quarterback Depth.

The picks:

29 Baltimore Ravens - OLB Bruce Irvin - West Virginia - 6'2" 235

61 Baltimore Ravens - RB Lamar Miller - Miami (FL) - 5'11" 212

92 Baltimore Ravens - WR Jarius Wright - Arkansas - 5'10" 180

156 Baltimore Ravens - LT Markus Zucevics - Iowa - 6'5" 294

188 Baltimore Ravens - ILB Josh Kaddu - Oregon - 6'3" 232

220 Baltimore Ravens - S Sean Cattouse - California - 6'2" 208

Why Baltimore goes this route:

Bruce Irvin could be the surprise of the draft. He has always had great pass rushing skills but with his combine, he could have vaulted into the first round. Lamar Miller is the best player available and can fill in if Ray Rice gets hurt. Jairus Wright is a good fit for the slot receiver spot with Boldin and Smith on the outside. Zucevics can develop into a starting caliber left tackle and is good value in the fifth. Kaddu can learn from Ray Lewis and eventually take over as the leader of the Ravens defense. Sean Cattouse will bring a lot of comparisons to fellow former Golden Bear Thomas Decoud. He is good depth for both safety spots.

Buffalo Bills

5 of 33

Team Needs:

Outside Linebacker, Wide Receiver, Left Tackle, Cornerback, Defensive End and depth, Quarterback depth, Tight End depth, Middle Linebacker depth and Kicker

The picks:

10 Buffalo Bills - LT Jonathan Martin - Stanford - 6'6" 305

41 Buffalo Bills - OLB Sean Spence - Miami (FL) - 5'11" 224

72 Buffalo Bills - WR Joe Adams - Arkansas - 5'11" 180

105 Buffalo Bills - DE Malik Jackson - Tennessee - 6'5" 268

124 Buffalo Bills - CB Omar Bolden - Arizona State - 5'10" 198

136 Buffalo Bills - TE Ladarius Green - Louisiana-Lafayette - 6'6" 230

167 Buffalo Bills - QB Kirk Cousins - Michigan State - 6'3" 205

201 Buffalo Bills - DE Tyrone Crawford - Boise State - 6'4" 278

Why Buffalo goes this route:

Jonathan Martin is the second best left tackle in the draft and will be a long term starter on the blind side. Spence can play the Will or Sam spots in the new 4-3 for the Bills and will likely start right away. Adams will make a good number two option to Stevie Johnson. Malik Jackson could be a great fit for the 4-3 in Buffalo, but he would have to sit behind Merriman or Kelsey for a year. Bolden would be a good fit for the Bills at the nickel spot. LaDarius Green could turn into the next big receiving TE threat and will allow Fitzgerald a safety valve over the middle. Kirk Cousins is a great fit for the backup QB spot and should be ready when called on in relief. Tyrone Crawford is an interesting player in that he can play the DE or 3-tech UT role.

Carolina Panthers

6 of 33

Team Needs:

Defensive Tackle, Cornerback, Outside Linebacker, Safety and Safety depth, Right Guard, Offensive Tackle depth, Wide Receiver and Kicker

The picks:

9 Carolina Panthers - DT Dontari Poe - Memphis - 6'5" 350

40 Carolina Panthers - CB Chase Minnifield - Virginia - 6'0" 188

104 Carolina Panthers - S Brandon Taylor - LSU - 5'11" 198

135 Carolina Panthers - OLB Tyler Nielsen - Iowa - 6'3" 235

169 Carolina Panthers - WR Tommy Streeter - Miami (FL) - 6'5" 215

200 Carolina Panthers - OG Desmond Wynn - Rutgers - 6'5" 305

Why Carolina goes this route:

Dontari Poe is the next Kris Jenkins and will allow Carolina to go to a more hybrid scheme than what they played last year. Chase Minnifield is a guy who can start right away and allow Captain Munnerlyn to play his more natural role of Nickel and Return Specialist. Brandon Taylor will be able to compete right away at the safety spot; Carolina hasn't had a legitimate strong safety since Chris Harris left. Nielsen can play either inside or outside at linebacker and will allow more versatility with Jon Beason and James Anderson at the linebacker spot. Steve Smith is getting older and Tommy Streeter has the raw talent to succeed with a mobile quarterback as he played with one in college. Desmond Wynn will be a great fit for the line scheme next to Otah and Kalil and could compete for the starting job this year.

Chicago Bears

7 of 33

Team Needs:

Wide Receiver, Left Tackle, Offensive Guard, Center, Cornerback, Tight End, Running Back Depth, Safety depth, Linebacker depth, Defensive End depth, Quarterback depth

The picks:

50 Chicago Bears - WR Stephen Hill - Georgia Tech - 6'5" 200

74 Chicago Bears - LT Matt McCants - UAB - 6'6" 309

80 Chicago Bears - TE Brian Linthicum - Michigan State - 6'4" 243

111 Chicago Bears - CB Donnie Fletcher - Boston College - 6'1" 198

142 Chicago Bears - RB Cyrus Gray - Texas A&M - 5'10" 200

173 Chicago Bears - OT James Carmon - Mississippi State - 6'7" 330

204 Chicago Bears - S Winston Guy - Kentucky - 6'1" 212

Why Chicago goes this route:

Daaaa Bears. They haven't had a good Center since Olin Kruestz retired. They have a very good guard playing center in Roberto Garza and will likely move him back to right guard and set the right side of their line. The Bears also don't have a WR over 6'0", so by drafting the project that is Stephen Hill, they add size and speed to the WR spot. McCants gets brought in as someone to compete with Webb and Williams at LT. Linthicum is someone who can compete for time as a pass catching TE. Fletcher increases the corner depth behind Tillman and Jennings. Gray comes in to compete with Barber and Bell at the backup RB spot. James Carmon is a guy who can come in and add good depth at the RT and LT spots as well. Winston Guy provides good depth behind Conte and Wright.

Cincinnati Bengals

8 of 33

Team Needs:

Cornerback, Running Back, S and S Depth, OG and G depth, DT depth, DE depth, WR depth, OLB dpeth, OT depth and Kicker

The picks:

17 Cincinnati Bengals - RB Trent Richardson - Alabama - 5'11" 224

21 Cincinnati Bengals - SS Mark Barron - Alabama - 6'2" 218

53 Cincinnati Bengals - CB Coryell Judie - Texas A&M - 5'11" 188

84 Cincinnati Bengals - WR Nick Toon - Wisconsin - 6'2" 215

116 Cincinnati Bengals - DT Mike Martin - Michigan - 6'1" 300

148 Cincinnati Bengals - DE Ryan Van Bergen - Michigan - 6'6" 283

158 Cincinnati Bengals - OL David Molk - Michigan - 6'2" 290

180 Cincinnati Bengals - S D'Anton Lynn - Penn State - 6'0" 208

212 Cincinnati Bengals - OLB Demario Davis - Arkansas State - 6'2" 236

Why Cincinnati goes this route:

With Cedric Benson as a free agent, it's unlikely for him to come back and Richardson is a top 5 prospect who will fall due to lack of need at the RB position. Mark Barron can play the strong or free safety spot that Reggie Nelson will be vacating should he leave in free agency. Coryell Judie can play the nickel or the dime and eventually end up as a starter. Toon is a great fit for a #2 WR to AJ Green and would likely start across from him. With Fanene and Sims as free agents, the Bengals need someone to rotate in behind Atkins and Peko. Martic could step up to the challenge. Also, with Rucker as a free agent and Geathers as a possible cap casualty, they will need a run stuffing DE to rotate in with pass rush specialists Michael Johnson and Carlos Dunlap. David Molk can play both guard spots and the center spot. He could end up starting at the RG spot in between Andre Smith and Kyle Cook. D'Anton Lynn is a good backup at both S spots and will fit best to finalize the safety corps with Mays, Barron and Crocker. DeMario Davis has the ability to come in and be excellent depth at the SLB spot with last year's 3rd rounder Dontay Moch as the starter.

Cleveland Browns

9 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Right Tackle, Defensive End, future Cornerback, Outside Linebacker Depth, Running Back, Offensive Guard, Free Safety, Defensive Tackle depth and Kicker

The picks:

4 Cleveland Browns - QB Robert Griffin - Baylor - 6'2" 223

22 Cleveland Browns - WR Kendall Wright - Baylor - 5'10" 195

37 Cleveland Browns - RB David Wilson - Virginia Tech - 5'10" 200

68 Cleveland Browns - DE Cam Johnson - Virginia - 6'3" 270

100 Cleveland Browns - OLB Travis Lewis - Oklahoma - 6'2" 233

118 Cleveland Browns - CB Ryan Steed - Furman - 5'11" 190

131 Cleveland Browns - RT Marcel Jones - Nebraska - 6'6" 320

164 Cleveland Browns - OG Lamar Holmes - Southern Miss - 6'5" 320

195 Cleveland Browns - DT Derek Wolfe - Cincinnati - 6'5" 295

Why Cleveland goes this route:

Robert Griffin would have the "Michael Vick effect" and bring back hope to the struggling franchise. He's a QB with great size and is exactly what the doctor would order at #4 for the Browns. Bringing in Kendall Wright as a starting WR is a smart move in the West Coast Offense because of his yard after catch ability and familiarity with Griffin. Cleveland completes a set of "triplets" with the David Wilson pick. Getting the Virginia Tech star running back is going to give them a true all around back to team with Montario Hardesty and give the Browns a versatile rushing attack. When Jayme Mitchell and Emmanuel Stephens are your best DE's not named Jabaal Sheard, you are in trouble. Cam Johnson would give the Browns someone to line up at the LDE spot and have Sheard move back to his more natural RDE spot. Travis Lewis is a pick for depth at the OLB spot as he can play both sides of the formation. Ryan Steed is a good fit as a depth corner but would likely not be more than a nickel corner long term. Marcel Jones can come in and compete right away with Pashos for the starting RT spot as he is a better run blocker and Lamar Holmes is a very underrated Guard from Southern Miss who could compete on the right side as well. Derek Wolfe is a quicker, more pass rush oriented defensive tackle who will be able to rotate in with Taylor and Rubin at the DT spots.

Dallas Cowboys

10 of 33

Team Needs:

Cornerback, Center, Guard, Safety, Inside Linebacker, Defensive End, Outside Linebacker depth, Quarterback Depth and Nose Tackle depth

The picks:

14 Dallas Cowboys - CB Dre Kirkpatrick - Alabama - 6'2" 192

45 Dallas Cowboys - OC Ben Jones - Georgia - 6'3" 315

82 Dallas Cowboys - S Antonio Allen - South Carolina - 6'1" 208

113 Dallas Cowboys - DE DaJohn Harris - USC - 6'4" 305

144 Dallas Cowboys - QB Nick Foles - Arizona - 6'5" 245

175 Dallas Cowboys - OLB Olivier Vernon - Miami (FL) - 6'3" 265

206 Dallas Cowboys - NT Chigbo Anunoby - Morehouse College - 6'4" 324

Why Dallas goes this route:

Terence Newman was one of the top corners in the league, but that's the problem. He was one of the top corners. Dre Kirkpatrick can come right in and start at the LCB spot. This will allow Newman to play the nickel and give Dallas a solid starting LCB. To compound on that, third rounder Antonio Allen is a strong safety who can actually cover and will move from a rover role at South Carolina to a very well suited SS role in the Ryan defense. Ben Jones is an upgrade over Phil Costa at the center spot and will allow a better guard to play next to Tyron Smith. DaJohn Harris is a good fit for the 3-4 defense and should be able to replace Kenyon Coleman in the starting spot after a year or two. Nick Foles has starting potential and can be a great option to compete with McGee for backup QB. Olivier Vernon will upgrade the depth at outside linebacker and Chigbo Anunoby can compete at the NT spot with Ratliff allowing Ratliff the possibility of moving to a more natural DE spot.

Denver Broncos

11 of 33

Team Needs:

Cornerback, Center, Defensive Tackle, Wide Receiver, Inside Linebacker, Guard depth, Running Back depth, Strong Safety depth, Quarterback depth and Kicker

The picks:

25 Denver Broncos - DT Michael Brockers - LSU - 6'6" 306

57 Denver Broncos - CB Jayron Hosley - Virginia Tech - 5'10" 172

88 Denver Broncos - C Philip Blake - Baylor - 6'2" 318

120 Denver Broncos - LB Keenan Robinson - Texas - 6'3" 239

129 Denver Broncos - OG Lucas Nix - Pittsburgh - 6'5" 310

152 Denver Broncos - RB Isaiah Pead - Cincinnati - 5'10" 200

216 Denver Broncos - WR Jeff Fuller - Texas A&M - 6'3" 215

Why Denver goes this route:

Michael Brockers will bring another level to the defense as he can penetrate and cause disruption both against the pass and the run. Goodman and Bailey are both well over 30 and Hosley could learn from both of them and eventually start. Philip Blake would give more depth to the offensive line and compete with Walton. Keenan Robinson could compete with Nate Irving for the middle linebacker job. Lucas Nix can play both sides of the line and would be an upgrade over Kuper when it comes to the move away from the ZBS. Pead is a good speed back to compete with Moreno and McGahee and Fuller could come in right away and be the third best WR on a team with a dearth of talent there.

Detroit Lions

12 of 33

Team Needs:

Left Tackle, Cornerback, Safety, Defensive End, future Center, Linebacker, Offensive Tackle depth, Running Back depth, Quarterback depth, Tight End depth, Wide Receiver depth and Punter

The picks:

23 Detroit Lions - DE Melvin Ingram - South Carolina - 6'2" 271

54 Detroit Lions - CB Brandon Boykin - Georgia - 5'10" 183

86 Detroit Lions - SS Harrison Smith - Notre Dame - 6'2" 215

117 Detroit Lions - RB Doug Martin - Boise State - 5'9" 210

150 Detroit Lions - LT Levy Adcock - Oklahoma State - 6'5" 322

181 Detroit Lions - TE Kevin Koger - Michigan - 6'4" 256

214 Detroit Lions - OT Jeff Adams - Columbia - 6'6" 305

Why Detroit goes this route:

The Lions tend to pick more on BPA than on direct need. Melvin Ingram is a true threat at the defensive end spot and would be scary on the offensive line with Avril, Fairley and Suh. Boykin could come in and start at corner across from Chris Houston. Harrison Smith is a guy who would push Spievey or Delmas for a starting spot and increase the depth at the S spot. Doug Martin makes sense as an all around running back and BPA there as he can compete with LeShoure and Best for playing time. Levy Adcock will compete with Fox and Culbreath for the starting LT spot. Koger would come in and compete with Heller, Scheffler and Overbay for a spot as a secondary receiving TE. Jeff Adams would help provide depth at the RT spot.

Green Bay Packers

13 of 33

Team Needs:

Outside Linebacker, Safety, Defensive End, Cornerback, Center, Running Back, Tight End depth, Offensive Guard depth, Offensive Tackle Depth

The picks:

28 Green Bay Packers - DE Devon Still - Penn State - 6'4" 305

60 Green Bay Packers - OLB Vinny Curry - Marshall - 6'3" 258

91 Green Bay Packers - CB Trumaine Johnson - Montana - 6'2" 204

123 Green Bay Packers - RB LaMichael James - Oregon - 5'9" 185

155 Green Bay Packers - TE Rhett Ellison - USC - 6'5" 248

187 Green Bay Packers - S Matt Daniels - Duke - 6'0" 205

219 Green Bay Packers - C Mason Cloy - Clemson - 6'3" 310

Why Green Bay goes this route:

Devin Still will come in and give Jairus Wynn and Mike Neal a nice seat on the bench as he will help the defense get a better push up from. Vinny Curry reminds some of Clay Matthews and is a linebacker who can hit and rush the passer. Trumaine Johnson is the taller, stronger corner that Dom Capers likes and should provide great depth behind Woodson and Williams. James can come right in as a change of pace running back and be the lighting to the thunder that is James Starks. Ellison will come in as yet another TE option for the Packers who love to stack TE's. Daniels will increase the depth at the Safety spots for the Packers and Cloy can compete right out the gate at Center just like Wells did when he was first drafted.

Houston Texans

14 of 33

Team Needs:

Wide Receiver and WR depth, Offensive Guard and OG depth, Center, Nose Tackle, Safety depth, Cornerback depth, Inside Linebacker, Kicker and Punter

The picks:

26 Houston Texans - WR Mohamed Sanu - Rutgers - 6'2" 218

58 Houston Texans - NT Brandon Thompson - Clemson - 6'2" 308

89 Houston Texans - OG Senio Kelemete - Washington - 6'3" 305

121 Houston Texans - S Aaron Henry - Wisconsin - 6'0" 210

153 Houston Texans - CB Dwight Bentley - Louisiana-Lafayette - 5'10" 180

185 Houston Texans - WR Marquis Maze - Alabama - 5'8" 190

217 Houston Texans - ILB Jerry Franklin - Arkansas - 6'1" 245

Why Houston goes this route:

Sanu is a good fit for the offense Houston runs as the secondary WR option as his size and route running ability will give him mismatches across the field from Andre Johnson. Thompson gives the Texans a great fit for the Nose Tackle role in the 1-tech that Wade Phillips uses for his NT spot. Cody will move to the DE spot and allow a lot deeper DL rotation. Senio Kelemete is a player who could come right in and start right away in the zone blocking scheme. He's a quicker nasty attitude guard who would be a great fit next to Eric Winston. Aaron Henry and Dwight Bentley would continue to improve depth in the secondary for the Texans as they could play the third safety and nickel corner roles. Marquis Maze is a small, slot corner who could bring more depth to the WR corps and Jerry Franklin would bring depth behind Cushing and Ryans at the ILB spot.

Indianapolis Colts

15 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Offensive Guard, Center, Cornerback and Cornerback Depth, Nose Tackle, Wide Receiver and Wide Receiver depth, Strong Safety, Tight End depth, Defensive End, Outside Linebacker and Running Back

The picks:

1 Indianapolis Colts - QB Andrew Luck - Stanford - 6'4" 234

34 Indianapolis Colts - OG Brandon Washington - Miami (FL) - 6'4" 320

65 Indianapolis Colts - CB Josh Norman - Coastal Carolina - 6'1" 190

97 Indianapolis Colts - NT Alameda Ta'amu - Washington - 6'3" 335

128 Indianapolis Colts - WR Jermaine Kearse - Washington - 6'1" 210

161 Indianapolis Colts - CB DeQuan Menzie - Alabama - 5'11" 200

192 Indianapolis Colts - TE Deangelo Peterson - LSU - 6'3" 238

Why Indianapolis goes this route:

Andrew Luck signifies the new chapter in the Colts history books by being drafted as he would mean the progression from Peyton Manning. Brandon Washington can come right in and start at the RG spot. Josh Norman can come in and compete with Jacob Lacey and Jerraud Powers for the starting CB spot. Alameda Ta'amu would be an excellent fit for the new scheme at Nose Tackle, and would start away in the middle of the defense. Jermaine Kearse is an intriguing option for the Colts as a WR to compete for a starting role and Menzie would be another CB for competition on defense. DeAngelo Peterson is an undersized TE but would be able to learn from Clark and possible even win the starting H-Back role from Jacob Tamme.

Jacksonville Jaguars

16 of 33

Team Needs:

Wide Receiver, Cornerback and CB Depth, Defensive End, Safety, Tight End, Quarterback, Offensive Tackle, Center, Linebacker and Punter

The picks:

7 Jacksonville Jaguars - DE Quinton Coples - North Carolina - 6'6" 285

38 Jacksonville Jaguars - CB Alfonzo Dennard - Nebraska - 5'10" 205

71 Jacksonville Jaguars - TE Orson Charles - Georgia - 6'3" 242

101 Jacksonville Jaguars - WR Chris Givens - Wake Forest - 6'0" 195

134 Jacksonville Jaguars - FS Eddie Whitley - Virginia Tech - 6'0" 190

165 Jacksonville Jaguars - QB Ryan Lindley - San Diego State - 6'4" 230

198 Jacksonville Jaguars - CB Keith Tandy - West Virginia - 5'10" 198

Why Jacksonville goes this route:

Quinton Coples can play in the 3-4 or the 4-3 and with the Jaguars looking to play more of a hybrid, Coples makes a lot of sense. Dennard is a first round caliber corner who can step right in and start as an upgrade over Cox and Middleton. Charles can come in and be a good fit for the offense under Mularkey as the main TE option. Chris Givens could come in and win the starting job at WR early on. Whitley could compete with Green, McBath and Lowery for the starting role at FS. Lindley is a good backup QB option and Tandy will be great depth at the corner spot.

Kansas City Chiefs

17 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Right Tackle, Nose Tackle, Cornerback, Offensive Guard, Tight End, Running Back depth, Outside Linebacker depth, Center, and Inside Linebacker depth

The picks:

11 Kansas City Chiefs - OG David DeCastro - Stanford - 6'5" 312

44 Kansas City Chiefs - OT Zebrie Sanders - Florida State - 6'5" 307

75 Kansas City Chiefs - CB Casey Hayward - Vanderbilt - 5'11" 185

107 Kansas City Chiefs - RB Chris Polk - Washington - 5'11" 215

138 Kansas City Chiefs - NT Josh Chapman - Alabama - 6'1" 315

171 Kansas City Chiefs - QB Russell Wilson - Wisconsin - 5'11" 201

202 Kansas City Chiefs - OLB Adrian Robinson - Temple - 6'1" 242

222 Kansas City Chiefs - TE Josh Chichester - Louisville - 6'7" 248

Why Kansas City goes this route:

David DeCastro brings too much of a good thing on the offensive line for them to pass up. He would slide right in as a starting OG. Zebrie Sanders would come in and compete for a starting spot at either tackle spot right away but is better suited for the RT role. Casey Heyward is a ballhawking corner and could compete with Arenas and Routt for a starting spot. Polk could bring some power running to the Chiefs to go with their speed backs in McCluster and Charles. Chapman is the best Parcells-style Nose Tackle in the draft and could easily start for the Chiefs. Wilson is a great option for a backup Quarterback as he is good fit for the offense that is being run by Brian Daboll. Adrian Robinson can add depth to the OLB corps and Chichester can add a secondary option to Tony Moeaki as a TE.

Miami Dolphins

18 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Right Tackle, Outside Linebacker, Nose Tackle, Offensive Guard, Safety depth, Cornerback depth, Tight End depth, Defensive End Depth and Inside Linebacker depth

The picks:

8 Miami Dolphins - RT Riley Reiff - Iowa - 6'6" 300

42 Miami Dolphins - QB Brandon Weeden - Oklahoma State - 6'4" 216

73 Miami Dolphins - NT Hebron Fangupo - BYU - 6'1" 331

103 Miami Dolphins - OLB Jonathan Massaquoi - Troy - 6'2" 270

137 Miami Dolphins - TE Michael Egnew - Missouri - 6'5" 242

186 Miami Dolphins - CB Micah Pellerin - Hampton - 6'0" 195

199 Miami Dolphins - DE Jack Crawford - Penn State - 6'5" 264

Why Miami goes this route:

Riley Reiff is one of the best tackles in the draft and can play either LT or RT. Between Reiff, Jerry, Long and Pouncey, the Dolphins will have one of the better young groups of linemen in the league to protect their new QB. Brandon Weeden is a guy who could start right away for the Dolphins as a smart, gunslinging QB. He would fit very well into Philbin's West Coast Offense. Hebron Fangupo is a great fit for the NT role in either a 3-4 or a 4-3. Wide body who can take on a lot of double teams similar to Soliai did for Miami. Jon Massaquoi is a guy who could compete at the OLB/DE spot and Michael Egnew is a great backup TE fit who can play the receiving TE role behind Fasano that is all too important in the Philbin offense. Pellering and Crawford are depth pcks who will strengthen the core of the team. Crawford has a frame that could fit at either a DE or OLB spot depending on scheme.

Minnesota Vikings

19 of 33

Team Needs:

Left Tackle, Cornerback, Wide Receiver, Safety, Offensive Guard, Linebacker and Linebacker depth, Defensive Tackle, Fullback depth and Running Back depth

The picks:

3 Minnesota Vikings - CB Morris Claiborne - LSU - 5'11" 188

35 Minnesota Vikings - FS Markelle Martin - Oklahoma State - 6'1" 195

67 Minnesota Vikings - DT Kendall Reyes - Connecticut - 6'4" 295

98 Minnesota Vikings - WR A.J. Jenkins - Illinois - 6'0" 187

130 Minnesota Vikings - LB Nigel Bradham - Florida State - 6'2" 240

162 Minnesota Vikings - LT Landon Walker - Clemson - 6'5" 302

194 Minnesota Vikings - OG Ryan Miller - Colorado - 6'8" 312

207 Minnesota Vikings - RB Vick Ballard - Mississippi State - 5'11" 216

Why Minnesota goes this route:

Antoine Winfield and Cedric Griffin are best suited coming off the bench, but unfortunately, there just isn't the corner depth this year to have both sitting. Morris Claiborne comes right in and starts at the LCB spot and has Winfield slide to the RCB spot. Martin will come right in and play at the FS spot and the left side of the defense just got that much better in two quick moves. Kendall Reyes can play the 1-tech or the 3-tech and be an upgrade over Remi Ayodele. A.J. Jenkins will be able to compete with Michael Jenkins for the starting spot and at worst wind up as the slot receiver. Nigel Bradham will give great depth to Greenway and the Henderson brothers at the linebacker spot. Walker is a guy who could develop long term into a starting left tackle but will start out as a backup who will compete with Charlie Johnson and DeMarcus Love. Ryan Miller is the dark horse of this class as he could beat Herrera for a starting spot in 2012. Ballard is more insurance behind Peterson and Gerhart for the RB position.

New England Patriots

20 of 33

Team Needs:

Outside Linebacker and Outside Linebacker Depth, Wide Receiver and Wide Receiver depth, Defensive End, Safety, Cornerback depth, Center depth, Running back depth and Linebacker depth

The picks:

27 New England Patriots - OLB Nick Perry - USC - 6'3" 250

31 New England Patriots - DE Jared Crick - Nebraska - 6'4" 285

48 New England Patriots - CB Stephon Gilmore - South Carolina - 6'1" 194

63 New England Patriots - OLB Ronnell Lewis - Oklahoma - 6'2" 244

94 New England Patriots - WR T.Y. Hilton - Florida Int'l - 5'10" 182

126 New England Patriots - WR Chris Rainey - Florida - 5'8" 176

Why New England goes this route:

Andre Carter and Mark Anderson are free agents and they get easily replaced as pass rushers by Nick Perry and Ronnell Lewis. Perry and Lewis are two of the best pass rushers in the draft and could be the guys that Belichick is missing in his 3-4 defense. Jared Crick is a great fit for the 1-gap tendencies and could remind NE fans of the former all-pro Richard Seymour. Stephon Gilmore is a corner who will add great depth behind McCourty and Arrington, while also adding some more size at the spot. Hilton and Rainey can come right in and contribute next to Welker, Ochocinco and Edelman.

New Orleans Saints

21 of 33

Team Needs:

Outside Linebacker and Outside Linebacker depth, Defensive Tackle, Wide Receiver and Wide Receiver depth, Offensive Guard, Safety depth, Offensive Line depth, and Defensive End depth

The picks:

59 New Orleans Saints - WR Alshon Jeffery - South Carolina - 6'4" 233

90 New Orleans Saints - OLB Lavonte David - Nebraska - 6'1" 224

122 New Orleans Saints - DT Kheeston Randall - Texas - 6'5" 298

154 New Orleans Saints - S Duke Ihenacho - San Jose State - 6'0" 205

166 New Orleans Saints - LB Mychal Kendricks - California - 5'11" 240

168 New Orleans Saints - WR Reuben Randle - LSU - 6'4" 207

218 New Orleans Saints - DE Julian Miller - West Virginia - 6'3" 258

Why New Orleans goes this route:

Alshon Jeffery and Rueben Randle are players who can come right in and compete for playing time. Jeffery will start right away in Colston's role and Randle will play more of a slot and #4 role than Jeffery would in the short term. LaVonte David is the perfect Spagnuolo Linebacker and could compete right away for playing time at the WLB spot. Keeston Randall is a guy who can step right in at the 3-tech if Ellis goes down and will provide depth at both NT and UT in the scheme. Ihenacho is a depth pick as well as he will be a perfect fit for the Spagnulo defense. Kendricks can be a guy who will learn behind Vilma for a couple of years and then be able to take over. Miller is another pass rusher to join Jordan, Smith, Romeus and the rest in rotation for the Saints.

New York Giants

22 of 33

Team Needs:

Left Guard, Tight End, Middle Linebacker, Offensive Tackle, Running Back, Safety depth, Cornerback depth, Defensive Tackle depth, Quarterback depth and Punter

The picks:

32 New York Giants - TE Dwayne Allen - Clemson - 6'4" 255

64 New York Giants - OT Mitchell Schwartz - California - 6'5" 324

95 New York Giants - OL Tony Bergstrom - Utah - 6'5" 315

127 New York Giants - MLB Tank Carder - TCU - 6'2" 228

159 New York Giants - DT Jaye Howard - Florida - 6'3" 302

191 New York Giants - RB Terrance Ganaway - Baylor - 6'0" 240

223 New York Giants - S Janzen Jackson - McNeese State - 6'0" 190

Why the Giants go this route:

Allen can come right in and start at the TE spot or provide depth and a better receiving option for the Giants. Schwartz is a good fit for the RT spot that Kareem McKenzie will be vacating this year as he will remind some of Tyson Clabo. Tony Bergstrom can come in and learn from Diehl and Snee as a a reserve OG for a year or two and then step into a starting role. Carder is a better fit for Perry Fewell's cover 2 defense than Goff or Blackburn and could start right away. Howard will provide depth behind Joseph and Canty. Ganaway is a power back who could wind up taking Jacobs' role in the offense and Jackson is a reserve safety who could step in if Rolle or Phillips get hurt.

New York Jets

23 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Wide Receiver and Wide Receiver depth, Right Tackle, Outside Linebacker, Safety and Safety depth, Nose Tackle, Kicker, Inside Linebacker depth, Tight End Depth and Offensive Line depth

The picks:

16 New York Jets - OLB Courtney Upshaw - Alabama - 6'2" 268

47 New York Jets - WR Juron Criner - Arizona - 6'4" 212

78 New York Jets - OT Brandon Mosley - Auburn - 6'5" 305

108 New York Jets - QB B.J. Coleman - Chattanooga - 6'3" 220

146 New York Jets - WR Marvin McNutt - Iowa - 6'4" 215

177 New York Jets - NT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen - Kent State - 6'3" 334

208 New York Jets - S Eddie Pleasant - Oregon - 5'11" 205

Why the Jets go this route:

Courtney Upshaw is the best pure 3-4 OLB in the draft and would make Rex Ryan ecstatic to get some championship swagger into his defense. Crinder and McNutt are big bodied WR's that will be able to be big targets for the Sanchise and will be better fits for the Sparano offense. Mosley can be a good fit at the RT spot and will compete to start right away. B.J. Coleman will be a great fit for the Sparano offense and will be a long term backup needed. Kenrick Ellis and Ishmaa'ily Kitchen will be a great NT rotation to allow Scott and Harris more room to roam. Pleasant is a great fit for the Jets as a reserve S behind Smith and Leonhard.

Oakland Raiders

24 of 33

Team Needs:

Nose Tackle, Outside Linebacker, Offensive Line and Offensive Line Depth, Cornerback and Cornerback depth, Right Tackle, Safety, Inside Linebacker, Defensive End and Running Back

The picks:

140 Oakland Raiders - OLB Brandon Lindsey - Pittsburgh - 6'2" 252

178 Oakland Raiders - CB Charles Brown - North Carolina - 5'9" 202

Why Oakland goes this route:

With the move to the 3-4, Brandon Lindsey makes the most sense as the first pick as he can play the OLB spot for any 3-4 scheme. Charles Brown is a good fit for the corner who can play across from DeMarcus Van Dyke despite the fact that he did run under a 4.1 40 yard dash.

Philadelphia Eagles

25 of 33

Team Needs:

Linebacker and Linebacker depth, Wide Receiver, Defensive Tackle, Safety, Cornerback depth, Offensive Line Depth, Quarterback Depth, Running Back Depth, Tight End, Punter

The picks:

15 Philadelphia Eagles - WR Michael Floyd - Notre Dame - 6'3" 228

46 Philadelphia Eagles - OLB Bobby Wagner - Utah State - 6'0" 235

51 Philadelphia Eagles - MLB Audie Cole - North Carolina State - 6'4" 242

77 Philadelphia Eagles - S George Iloka - Boise State - 6'3" 215

99 Philadelphia Eagles - CB Josh Robinson - Central Florida - 5'10" 192

114 Philadelphia Eagles - DT Jerel Worthy - Michigan State - 6'3" 305

145 Philadelphia Eagles - QB Brock Osweiler - Arizona State - 6'8" 242

176 Philadelphia Eagles - OT Matt Reynolds - BYU - 6'4" 305

184 Philadelphia Eagles - RB Tauren Poole - Tennessee - 5'10" 214

190 Philadelphia Eagles - TE David Paulson - Oregon - 6'3" 242

Why Philadelphia goes this route:

The Eagles just don't have that big target for Vick to throw to and Floyd would definitely give them that. Their weak LB corps needs an influx of talent from having Akeem Jordan, Jamar Chaney and Brian Rolle start. Wagner and Cole would be the first choices for the Juan Castillo defense based on the cover 2 principles. Iloka is a good fit for depth at both FS and SS. Robinson will bring in a speedy nickel so that they can trade away Samuel. Worthy is a steal this late and will provide a great rusher who will help collapse the pocket from the inside. Oswiler is a great fit for the Andy Reid WCO and would be a great backup for Michael Vick. Matt Reynolds is a guy who can play RT and allow Herremans to move back to his more natural LG spot. Poole could be a steal of the draft at RB and would provide good depth behind McCoy and Lewis. Paulson is a H-back type receiving TE and could eventually start for Vick as a Crumpler-type target.

Pittsburgh Steelers

26 of 33

Team Needs:

Left Tackle, Left Guard, Nose Tackle, Cornerback, Inside Linebacker, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Tight End depth, Punter

The picks:

24 Pittsburgh Steelers - ILB Dont'a Hightower - Alabama - 6'4" 258

56 Pittsburgh Steelers - OG Amini Silatolu - Midwestern State - 6'3" 324

87 Pittsburgh Steelers - LT Nate Potter - Boise State - 6'6" 298

119 Pittsburgh Steelers - CB Cliff Harris - Oregon - 5'11" 180

151 Pittsburgh Steelers - NT Nicolas Jean-Baptiste - Baylor - 6'2" 335

183 Pittsburgh Steelers - RB Ronnie Hillman - San Diego State - 5'10" 190

215 Pittsburgh Steelers - WR Greg Childs - Arkansas - 6'3" 214

Why Pittsburgh goes this route:

After releasing Farrior bringing in a leader and pounding SILB is the move that is needed here. Hightower would be the perfect fit for the Steelers as he has played in the 3-4 for four years now. Silatolu and Potter can come right in and start right away at the LG and LT spots allowing Gilbert to play his more natural RT slot and Colon to play his more natural RG spot. Line would then be Potter-Silatolu-Pouncey-Colon-Gilbert and should be much better against the pass rush of the Ravens and Bengals. Jean-Baptiste is a possible steal at the NT spot similar to how Chris Hoke was and he could play right out the gate as a starting NT. Hillman is another option for depth in the backfield and Greg Childs can be that bigger receiver that the Steelers just don't have at this point.

San Diego Chargers

27 of 33

Team Needs:

Outside Linebacker, Cornerback, Offensive Tackle, Offensive Guard, safety, Wide Receiver, Center, Running Back depth, and Defensive End depth

The picks:

18 San Diego Chargers - OLB Whitney Mercilus - Illinois - 6'3" 262

49 San Diego Chargers - OG Kelechi Osemele - Iowa State - 6'5" 347

79 San Diego Chargers - CB Leonard Johnson - Iowa State - 5'10" 195

110 San Diego Chargers - S Phillip Thomas - Syracuse - 5'11" 190

141 San Diego Chargers - RB Bernard Pierce - Temple - 6'0" 218

172 San Diego Chargers - WR Lance Lewis - East Carolina - 6'1" 206

210 San Diego Chargers - DE Dominique Hamilton - Missouri - 6'5" 305

Why San Diego goes this route:

Whitney Mercilus is a good pass rusher and can be a long term option across from Larry English as an OLB. Kelechi Osemele can come right in and start at the LG spot over Tyronne Greene. Leonard Johnson can learn from Jammer for a couple of years and then step into a starting role. Thomas is a guy who can come right in and compete for a starting spot at the SS role and Pierce will come right in as a power option to Ryan Mathews. Lewis is a guy who can come right in as a slot receiver and contribute to the offense. Hamilton will come in and compete for a spot at DE with Martin, Cesaire and possibly even Tommy Harris.

San Francisco 49ers

28 of 33

Team Needs:

Wide Receiver and Wide Receiver depth, Right Guard, Quarterback, Safety, Offensive Tackle depth, Cornerback, Defensive End, and Running Back depth

The picks:

30 San Francisco 49ers - OG Cordy Glenn - Georgia - 6'5" 348

62 San Francisco 49ers - WR Marvin Jones - California - 6'2" 200

93 San Francisco 49ers - FS Trenton Robinson - Michigan State - 5'10" 195

125 San Francisco 49ers - WR Jordan White - Western Michigan - 6'0" 212

157 San Francisco 49ers - CB Jamell Fleming - Oklahoma - 5'11" 192

189 San Francisco 49ers - DE Matt Conrath - Virginia - 6'7" 276

221 San Francisco 49ers - RB Lennon Creer - Louisiana Tech - 6'0" 215

Why San Francisco goes this route:

San Francisco comes off a year that will allow us to say that they are back. One of the big holes in their team though was the Right Guard slot. Cordy Glenn has Carl Nicks type potential at the spot without all the headaches. Just his presence alone can help Anthony Davis turn the corner to a better RT. Marvin Jones can be the starting WR across from Crabtree who will fit Harbaugh's offense the best, while White will be the slot receiver that Kyle Williams hasn't developed into. Trenton Robinson will provide better depth behind Dashon Goldson than Madieu Williams did and Fleming will come in and compete for a role as a nickel corner. Conrath is a great fit for the 3-4 defense and should allow Smith and McDonald some more time off the field to rest in passing situations. Creer is yet another back who could come in and help relieve Gore of some carries and presents best player available in that scenario.

Seattle Seahawks

29 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Defensive End and Defensive End depth, Offensive Guard, Defensive Tackle, Linebacker and Linebacker Depth, Cornerback depth and Running Back depth

The picks:

12 Seattle Seahawks - DE/DT Fletcher Cox - Mississippi St - 6'4" 300

43 Seattle Seahawks - OG James Brown - Troy - 6'4" 312

76 Seattle Seahawks - DE Chandler Jones - Syracuse - 6'5" 265

106 Seattle Seahawks - LB Emmanuel Acho - Texas - 6'2" 240

139 Seattle Seahawks - RB Robert Turbin - Utah State - 5'10" 216

170 Seattle Seahawks - QB Jacory Harris - Miami (FL) - 6'4" 200

203 Seattle Seahawks - LB Chris Galippo - USC - 6'2" 250

209 Seattle Seahawks - DE Jacquies Smith - Missouri - 6'3" 248

Why Seattle goes this route:

Fletcher Cox gives them a true all around defensive lineman. He can lineup at either DT spot or either DE spot in any scheme. The versatility there is tantamount to the Pete Carroll defenses. James Brown brings talent as someone who can learn from Gallery for a year or two and then be a great fit to the zone scheme that they run. Chandler Jones and Jacquies Smith add depth to the DE unit that needs it. Acho and Galippo can both compete for starting jobs should Hawthorne or Hill not return. Turbin is an excellent option to come in and help take some pressure off the newly re-signed Lynch. Harris is a great fit for a backup Quarterback behind Jackson for a year and could eventually be the starting QB for the Seahawks.

St. Louis Rams

30 of 33

Team Needs:

Offensive Tackle, Offensive Line, Wide Receiver and Wide Receiver depth, Outside Linebacker and Outside Linebacker depth, Free Safety, Cornerback, Defensive Tackle, Center, future Running Back and Fullback

The picks:

2 St. Louis Rams - LT Matt Kalil - USC - 6'7" 306

33 St. Louis Rams - OLB Zach Brown - North Carolina - 6'2" 230

66 St. Louis Rams - WR Ryan Broyles - Oklahoma - 5'11" 187

96 St. Louis Rams - OLB Terrell Manning - North Carolina State - 6'3" 233

160 St. Louis Rams - WR Brian Quick - Appalachian State - 6'4" 216

193 St. Louis Rams - CB Justin Bethel - Presbyterian - 5'11" 196

Why St. Louis goes this route:

Rodger Saffold and Jason Smith have been disappointing but Saffold should have never been a starting LT. Move Saffold to RT and have Kalil protect the franchise quarterback Sam Bradford. With Poppinga, Chamberlain and Kehl all as free agents it makes the most sense to bring in a pair of outside linebackers. Brown and Manning are a great pair of linebackers who will feed off of Laurainitis's energy and fit Gregg Williams scheme very well. Broyles and Quick will give the Rams a pair of WR's who can come in and contribute right away. Justin Bethel is an underrated and a perfect fit for the Rams new scheme as a backup and nickel.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

31 of 33

Team Needs:

Cornerback and Cornerback depth, Linebacker and Linebacker depth, Right Tackle, Wide Receiver, Center, Running Back, Left Guard, Fullback, Defensive Tackle depth and Quarterback depth

The picks:

5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - WR Justin Blackmon - Oklahoma State - 6'1" 207

36 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - CB Janoris Jenkins - North Alabama - 5'10" 182

69 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - OT Tom Compton - South Dakota - 6'6" 312

132 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - LB James-Michael Johnson - Nevada - 6'1" 242

163 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - CB Shaun Prater - Iowa - 5'10" 182

196 Tampa Bay Buccaneers - RB Bobby Rainey - Western Kentucky - 5'7" 198

Why Tampa Bay goes this route:

Blackmon is the guy that could give them a sure handed weapon for the franchise QB in Josh Freeman. Blackmon doesn't have perfect character but that isn't something that has deterred the Buccaneers before. Jenkins has a world of talent and can be the perfect compliment talent wise to Aqib Talib at CB. Compton is a great fit as competition to both LT and RT roles. James-Michael Johnson is a good fit for the middle linebacker role that Barrett Ruud had vacated a year ago, but could also fit right into the SLB role should Mason Foster keep the MLB role. Prater is a better fit for depth than E.J. Biggers or Elbert Mack. Rainey could be the running back compliment to Blount that the Buccs just don't have at this point.

Tennessee Titans

32 of 33

Team Needs:

Center, Offensive Guard and Offensive Guard depth, Defensive End, Safety and Safety Depth, Defensive Tackle depth, Outside Linebacker Depth, Cornerback depth, Wide Receiver depth, and Running Back depth

The picks:

20 Tennessee Titans - DE Andre Branch - Clemson - 6'4" 258

52 Tennessee Titans - OG Kevin Zeitler - Wisconsin - 6'4" 320

83 Tennessee Titans - OG Brandon Brooks - Miami (OH) - 6'5" 343

115 Tennessee Titans - DT Marcus Forston - Miami (FL) - 6'3" 300

147 Tennessee Titans - C Quinton Saulsberry - Mississippi State - 6'2" 305

179 Tennessee Titans - RB Dan Herron - Ohio State - 5'10" 212

211 Tennessee Titans - CB Asa Jackson - Cal Poly - 5'10" 188

Why Tennessee goes this route:

Andre Branch is one of the top pass rushers in the draft and could be a true replacement for Jason Jones. Zeitler and Brooks can come right in and start and be upgrades to the sub par guards in Tennessee. Forston is a guy who will provide good depth at the DT spot. Saulsberry is a guy who can play behind Amano for a year or two and learn how to play the C spot in the NFL. Herron is a guy who could compete for time at the RB spot behind Ringer, Johnson and Harper. With Finnegan as a free agent and not much depth behind McCourty and Verner, Jackson is put into the ideal role. He can develop and learn for a couple of years but he has Grimes level potential.

Washington Redskins

33 of 33

Team Needs:

Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Offensive Guard, Inside Linebacker, Offensive Tackle depth, Cornerback, Nose Tackle, Tight End depth, Center, Safety, and Outside Linebacker depth

The picks:

6 Washington Redskins - ILB Luke Kuechly - Boston College - 6'3" 242

39 Washington Redskins - QB Ryan Tannehill - Texas A&M - 6'4" 220

70 Washington Redskins - WR Dwight Jones - North Carolina - 6'4" 225

102 Washington Redskins - OT Jeff Allen - Illinois - 6'5" 315

109 Washington Redskins - OG Mike Brewster - Ohio State - 6'4" 305

133 Washington Redskins - NT Akiem Hicks - Regina - 6'5" 325

197 Washington Redskins - TE George Bryan - North Carolina State - 6'5" 267

Why Washington goes this route:

Fletcher, McIntosh and Fox are free agents and should they leave, there is not a true ILB to start next to rookie Perry Riley. Kuechly could not only come in and start, but he could come in and lead the defense. Tannehill is an underrated QB and could come in and start day one and be an upgrade over everyone the Redskins have. Jones is a good option to learn behind Moss for a year and could compete with Gaffney for the #2 role in the offense. Allen and Brewster bring competition to the right side of the offensive line and could compete for time early. Akiem Hicks could be a steal as he is the right fit for a nose tackle in Haslett's 3-4 defense. George Bryan can come in, compete with Cooley for playing time and possibly even win a starting job after 2-3 years.
