NBA All-Star Weekend provides special memories for fans across the world. Sunday’s 2012 NBA All-Star Game will cap off a fantastic weekend of coverage.

Here are five reasons you can’t afford to miss the tipoff:

What Else Will you Watch?

Are you really going to watch the Oscars over this? The NBA is the only event worth watching on Sunday night.

You would be crazy not to tune in for this event.

Superb Athleticism

You won’t find a better collection of athletes on the planet. NBA All-Stars could play multiple sports if they wanted to.

LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade, Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose and just about every player on the roster brings athleticism which we have never seen before.

We will watch the best basketball players in the world in one game.

How exciting is that?

Up-and-down Action

NBA All-Star games are played in the 130s and 140s. You will consistently see action on Sunday night. This would be a great event to attend live because of how quick and fast these guys are on the floor.

True All-Stars

The 2012 NBA Dunk Contest was a joke. We saw a guy named Jeremy Evans win the contest.

Just think about that for a minute.

Really?

Sunday night will see a great collection of not just stars but superstars. We will see Blake Griffin, as well as others, fly through the air from countless alley-oop efforts. We will see unbelievable passes on a non-stop basis.

This is going to be great entertainment.

Greatest All-Star Game

When I think of an All-Star game, I think of players having fun. I love how Major League Baseball makes their version of an All-Star game mean that much more by putting stipulations on it, but I don’t even consider that to be an All-Star game anymore.

The NBA has the best version of an All-Star game from an entertainment aspect. They have great athletes, the pace will be up-and-down, and you will see people fly through the air.
