WWE Rumors: John Cena, The Rock, CM Punk, Chris Brown and Friday's Top WWE News
When the story of WrestleMania 28 is written, you have to wonder if people will remember Triple H and Undertaker in Hell In a Cell or John Cena vs. The Rock. One year ago, that would have seemed unfathomable.
In the end it doesn't really matter. As long as both matches are entertaining and WrestleMania delivers, that is the best thing for everyone.
But there is so much time until the big show that we will have plenty of time to break everything down. Until we get to April 1, we can talk about everything else going on in this crazy, mixed up WWE world.

JOHN CENA AND THE ROCK GET A UFC PRIMETIME SPECIAL
We have all seen the vignettes that aired on Raw and SmackDown pumping up The Rock and John Cena. Now, we are going to get an hour-long primetime special on this feud, airing on USA March 26 at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Why doesn't WWE do this more often?
Our Take: As great as the idea sounds, there are very few matches big enough to warrant a primetime special. Doing one with The Rock and Cena is an awesome promotional idea, and the potential for it is huge.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Ways UFC is Better Than WWE
One of the best ways that UFC is able to drum up interest in its shows is by having an hour-long special on the two fighters in the main event. It gives you a look at the history of the competitors and the feud, while making you care about both fighters in the process.

THE ROCK ANSWERS THE HATERS
All week we have talked about the backstage heat on The Rock for wrestling at WrestleMania. Now, the Great One has finally offered a response on Twitter.
"@da_other_man The ones who are complaining are the ones who will never get over anyway, Too busy complaining.
"
"— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) February 23, 2012"
Question on Everybody's Mind: Where do the critics go from here?
Our Take: It is hard to disagree with Rock, though there are some that could see his response as another way his ego has taken over. Name one wrestler that would have been put in Rock's spot against John Cena at WrestleMania, though.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Appropriate Responses
Rock has plenty going on in his life right now. There is no reason for him to worry about what some anonymous people are saying about him behind his back. Fans will be entertained by what he and Cena do, so let's just enjoy it and not worry about it.

CAN'T CM PUNK AND CHRIS BROWN STOP THE MADNESS?
The one story this week bigger than "Who is bashing The Rock" is the viral/social media battle between CM Punk and Chris Brown. The worst part of the whole thing is, WWE actually plays it up on its website.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What is the point of all this?
Our Take: Punk is a strong personality that will speak his mind about anything and everything. Brown is an idiot who should not have engaged in this whole thing to begin with. Like Kane trying to convince John Cena that hate is good, there is no point to this.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Signs WWE Is Desperate For Mainstream Attention
Wrestling fans live in a bubble. We just want our wrestling and everything else is secondary. Vince McMahon has to get talked about by everyone, or else he feels neglected. Promoting this on WWE.com is so pointless, but that's how he works.

BRODUS CLAY CAN'T WRESTLE
Vince McMahon is a strange individual. He will push stars that can't actually wrestle, and bury wrestlers that he doesn't like. Brodus Clay was getting over, which means that WWE had to pull him off television to get his ring work in order.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What is Vince looking for?
Our Take: That is the great mystery in WWE, and one that will probably never ever have an answer. Clay was over and the creative team actually had a good idea—he was a monster that destroyed everyone in his path.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Reasons Nobody Gets Over
Clay's work in the ring seemed fine. He wasn't exactly going up against stars that could help him out, so WWE should factor in everything instead of just killing one of their best gimmicks.
