Most Loyal Fans in the NBA

Zack PumerantzJun 7, 2018

The NBA delivers high-flying dunks, smooth shots and pinpoint passes, all while a crowd of high-profile celebrities gets caught by the cameras sitting court-side.

But not all are hardcore fans – actual diehards who root for a specific team. Most of them likely have no idea what the score is or who's playing. Nonetheless, they are there to make an appearance.

Among the vast amount of stars attending the games are 10 actual fans who live, breathe and die basketball, or so we believe.

Let's take a look at the most loyal NBA fans in the game.

These dudes bleed orange.

10. Kid Rock

1 of 10

Born in Michigan, lyrical anomaly Kid Rock can often be seen at any Detroit sporting event, from the Red Wings to the Tigers, yet it's his loyalty to the Pistons that has us intrigued.

At 11-24, the Pistons may need to "Bawitaba" just a bit more.

9. Lil Jon

2 of 10

Like his beloved Hawks, Lil Jon produces plenty of flash and loudness, yet doesn't possess enough talent to be considered great.

Perhaps he's not screaming "YEAAA" loud enough during the playoffs.

8. Kanye West

3 of 10

Nobody understands Kanye "always-wearing-sunglasses" West like the Bulls mascot.

They've had plenty of time to bond since the rapper's youthful days in Chi-town.

7. George Lucas

4 of 10

It seems the force isn't as strong as it used to be in Golden State, where George Lucas once saw his team win their first title.

This is the face of a man who couldn't get Jeremy Lin to the dark side.

6. Wale

5 of 10

Still a rising talent in the music industry, D.C.-born Wale clearly wears his heart on his sleeve as he promotes his hometown franchise.

He'll be rapping about John Wall for years to come.

5. Nelly

6 of 10

Once a co-owner of the inexperienced Bobcats, Nelly now marinates on the sideline as his beloved Charlotte franchise hums along with the NBA's worst record.

Yea we know, it's hard not to laugh.

4. Flea

7 of 10

One thing the Lakers certainly don't lack is a diverse group of famous fans eager for more championships.

The bassist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers may have kept a blog on NBA.com in the past, but it was the group's inclusion of "Magic Johnson" on their album Mother's Milk that has us smiling.

3. Matt Damon

8 of 10

Remember him? It's Will, from Kindaagaaaaden.

While Matt Damon is often seen at Fenway Paaaak, his loyalty to the Celtics is duly noted.

His accent is fully documented with this facial expression.

2. Jack Nicholson

9 of 10

Heeeeeeeere's Jacky, still fuming on the Los Angeles sideline as usual.

Closely behind Spike Lee's on-court tantrums is Jack Nicholson's neurotic frustration with every single play that occurs.

We'd like to believe he was thinking about the promising future of a Lakers rookie named Magic Johnson during the filming of The Shining.

1. Spike Lee

10 of 10

There is perhaps no fan more physically involved in the game than film director Spike Lee.

While he clearly looks hysterical in Knickerbocker apparel, it's his on-court antics that always have us smiling.

Knicks games, while often frustrating, are rarely boring.
