10 Wildest NBA Dunks of the Week

Every game in the NBA brings amazing plays, great fast breaks and high-flying dunks.

This past week was no different, as we saw some of the league's biggest superstars show off their best slams.

This week was particularly strong in the throwdown department because we saw what could be called the dunk of the year two nights in a row. 

While all of these are great dunks, the top two dunks by LeBron James and Blake Griffin are the kind that get talked about for a long time. 

Enjoy as you watch 10 of the top dunks of the past week.

10. The Follow

The Sacramento Kings forget to box him out, as Utah Jazz rookie guard Alec Burks goes up high for the follow dunk. 

9. The Break

Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen gets the steal and the drive, and then he avoids Josh Smith for the flush and a foul in a game against the Atlanta Hawks.

8. Hammer Dunk

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall shows off his speed and athleticism on this hammer dunk over the Charlotte Bobcats off of the fast break.

7. The Slip and the Slam

Andre Iguodala of the Philadelphia 76ers shows how to run the fast break, as he slips around the defender for the slam. 

6. The Challenge

Deron Williams of the New Jersey Nets wins the challenge in the paint against Roy Hibbert and the Indiana Pacers with this quick drive down the middle of the defense.

5. Coast to Coast

Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans drives past the defense for a high-flying slam against the Utah Jazz.

4. The Reverse

Indiana Pacer Paul George gets ahead of the defense for a reverse, double-pump throwdown on the fast break. 

3. The Birthday Present

Andre Iguodala of the Philadelphia 76ers gives himself a birthday assist off the backboard on his way to a triple-double.

2. The Hurdle

Miami Heat All-Stars Dwyane Wade and LeBron James team up for the ally-oop, as James leapfrogs the defender on his way to the rim.

This was the dunk of the year for one night.

1. Dunk of the Year?

Los Angeles Clipper forward Blake Griffin throws down the dunk of the year over Kendrick Perkins and the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

Even though Thunder star Kevin Durant was not impressed, this dunk started a lot of discussion around the league.
