WWE Countdown: Top 5 Moments in DDP's WWE Career

Diamond Dallas Page has had an interesting WWE career. Everybody loves to "fantasy book" the company, but I like to stick to reality. In my opinion, DDP had a nice career in WWE.

He was there less than a year, but his time was very memorable. Spanning from just June 2001 to April 2002, I enjoyed his presence. Here are my top five moments!

Remember, it is just my opinion.

5. DDP vs. Hardcore Holly

This took place on WWE SmackDown.

The match may seem "meaningless," but it turned into much more. Just watch the video, and you will see what went wrong.

I won't get into it, but one move here all but ended DDP's run in WWE—that quickly, folks! My saying of "safety comes first" has never rang so true...

4. WWE Raw Cameo in 2011

It was great to see DDP again.

I am not a huge DDP fan. He was always a good talent to have, but proclaiming him to be some huge star was never in my mind. However, his appearance on Raw last year was very fun.

Him interacting with Booker T was a shoutout to the past, as well as Shawn Michaels coming in at the end. Add in a nice Drew McIntyre line, and you have a memorable DDP showing in WWE!

3. King of the Ring 2001

This was not officially a "match."

Basically, Undertaker came out and destroyed Page in this segment. However, the entire night featured DDP calling him out, so it was inevitable to happen at some point.

WWE threw in a nice twist with Sara (Undertaker's wife) being there as well. Very nice night for DDP here and it really stood out during his WWE run.

2. Very Underrated WrestleMania Match

I wrote about this many months ago, but it is still true.

DDP vs. Christian was a very good match at WrestleMania 18. The European Championship was on the line, and both men put on a great performance.

The night was overshadowed by many other awesome matches, so it is no wonder why this one falls under the radar. Forgotten or not, I highly suggest everybody watch this excellent bout.

Maybe the best match in DDP's WWE career...

1. DDP Debuts

For the record, I am ignoring his small role at WrestleMania two decades earlier. Him driving a car down the aisle is not making this list.

With that being said, nothing will ever match his debut in WWE. It was handled so well. I give major props to everybody involved in this huge "reveal."

Somebody was "stalking" Undertaker's wife. We all had our guesses, but nobody really knew. On one Raw in June 2001, we all found out.

It was Diamond Dallas Page, and he was looking to make an impact. What better way than to mess with the top man in the company? The feud between him and Undertaker officially began with an excellent promo by DDP explaining his actions. Loved it!
