Steelers vs. Broncos: Bronco Playmakers That Tim Tebow Needs to Step Up
Tim Tebow can’t single-handedly beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.
That isn’t exactly the boldest statement in the world, but even combined with a strong defensive effort, the Denver Broncos will still fall short. What must happen for John Fox and company to pull the upset is the offensive weapons surrounding Tebow must play on fire.
Here are the playmakers whose performances will be the difference in the game’s outcome good or bad.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
4. Willis McGahee
The former Miami Hurricane can’t have a letdown on Sunday afternoon. In 15 games this season, McGahee rushed for 1,199 yards on 4.2 yards a pop. If he fails to near the century mark against the Steelers, Denver won’t take home the W.
3. Eddie Royal
Royal’s ability to flip the field with a single punt return is huge. He averaged 16.2 yards a return this season and ran back one for a touchdown. If he can set Tebow up with great field position, the game will come much easier to the unorthodox quarterback.
2. Knowshon Moreno
Lance Ball may get more carries than him, but Moreno is the more talented back overall. Injuries have destroyed his 2011 campaign, but in the season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs, he rushed for 52 yards on 13 a pop. He is the X-Factor against a Steelers defense that only has the eighth-ranked run defense in the league this year.
1. Demaryius Thomas
Late this season, Thomas finally emerged. He finished the 2011 year as the second-leading receiver on the Broncos. He recorded 32 receptions for 551 yards and four touchdowns, taking advantage of the opportunities given to him by Brandon Lloyd’s departure. The 6’3”, 225-pound wideout is a physical freak and possesses the ability to be the difference in a Denver victory.
