Cowboys' Cooper Rush Disappoints Fans in Loss to Hurts, Eagles; QB Benched for Lance
The Philadelphia Eagles cruised to a 34-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
With Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott reportedly set to undergo season-ending surgery on his partially torn hamstring, Cooper Rush was given the start under center against the Eagles.
Rush finished 13-of-23 for just 45 yards without recording a touchdown or an interception. He was replaced by Trey Lance in the fourth quarter after Dallas trailed by 25 points.

Lance didn't fare much better, completing four of his six pass attempts for 21 yards to go along with an interception.
Fans weren't pleased with Rush's performance against a division rival.
The Cowboys finished with a mere 146 total yards against the Eagles, picking up 11 first downs. Dallas averaged just 2.6 yards per play and converted only three of 14 opportunities on third down.
It was a different story for Philadelphia, as Jalen Hurts finished with four total touchdowns. He completed 70 percent of his passes for 202 yards and added 56 more yards on the ground.
Head coach Mike McCarthy's team has now lost four consecutive games, falling to 3-6 on the season as a whole.
