Top 100 Fantasy Football Rankings for PPR Leagues in 2026
We're in the dog days of summer, and temperatures are sweltering. As the calendar turns to August, training camps are underway in earnest across the NFL, and next week the first preseason game of 2026 will kick off in Canton, Ohio.
And that means it's go time: Fantasy draft season is here.
Many fantasy football leagues still won't be drafting for a week or three, but savvy fantasy managers know the path to glory starts long before draft day. It starts with preparationāidentifying which players are overvalued and undervalued this year, which players have some later-round sleeper potential and, most importantly, how this year's crop of fantasy assets stacks up against one another.
This is your one-stop shop for all of that, with PPR rankings by position and a Top 100 overall, plus notes on values, potential busts and sleepers. Whatever you need to get ready for draft day is hereāconsider all your bases covered.
Top 100 Players Overall
1 of 6.jpg?w=2560)
Before we get to the individual position rankings, we'll kick this off with a list of the top players overall. However, it's a list that comes with an important caveat.
There is no one-size-fits-all list of players where drafters can just "draft by numbers" and grab the highest-ranked player. It just doesn't exist.
There are far too many variables that come into play, whether it's a league's scoring, roster construction, positional scarcity, draft flow or the tendencies of your leaguemates.
With that said, it is a list that can offer an idea of how positions stack up relative to one another and when the top quarterbacks and tight ends can reasonably be expected to come off the board.
That has valueāor so I tell myself.

Quarterbacks
2 of 6.jpg?w=2560)
Quarterback in unquestionably the most important position in the NFL. But in most fantasy football leagues, that's not the case.
Granted, the math changes in "superflex" formats. But in leagues that start just one signal-caller, there are only a dozen (or 14, or 16) players at the position active each week. Given that reality, quarterback is the deepest position in fantasy.
Avail yourself of that depth.
Elite quarterbacks may be tempting. But the gap in fantasy points per game between the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 10 one isn't worth the costāor the hole it digs for a team at running back or wide receiver.
There will be multiple quarterbacks who are drafted outside the top 12 who crack the top 10. It happens every year.

Undervalued Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (ADP: QB9)
This is seemingly an annual event with Prescott. Yes, the 32-year-old doesn't have a ton of rushing upside, but he is at the helm of one of the NFL's most potent offenses. He may be forced into shootouts by potential defensive deficiencies in Dallas and finished last year fifth in fantasy points among quarterbacks.
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars (ADP: QB10)
Lawrence probably isn't going to score 11 rushing touchdowns again in 2026. But there is no shortage of passing-game weapons in Duval County, and Liam Coen's offense has consistently produced high-end fantasy quarterbacks. Don't rule out a second straight top-five season.
Overvalued Quarterbacks
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (ADP: QB1)
This isn't about Allen as a playerāhe was fantasy football's top-ranked quarterback last year. But he only outscored the No. 12 fantasy quarterback last year by 3.3 fantasy points per game, while the gap between the "best" and "worst" weekly starter at running back and wide receiver is far wider.
Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders (ADP: QB5)
After an outstanding rookie season, Daniels suffered though an injury-marred disappointment of a 2025 season where his numbers regressed across the board. Add in a questionable array of skill-position talent around him, and he is primed to let down fantasy managers for a second straight year in 2026.
Sleeper Quarterbacks
Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings (ADP: QB17)
Yes, Murray has to beat out J.J. McCarthy for the starting quarterback job in Minnesota. But given Murray's track record and the investment the Vikings have made, he should have the inside track, and he has already demonstrated elite fantasy upside in the past. We've also seen Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell help elevate QB play in recent years, which only bolsters Murray's case as a potential value.
Malik Willis, Miami Dolphins (ADP: QB19)
To be fair, the Dolphins could struggle this year, and Miami's wide receiver room on paper isn't a clear strength. But Willis possesses meaningful rushing upside, and there's a realistic chance Miami will often be playing from behind. In fantasy, garbage-time points count the same as any other.
Running Backs
3 of 6.jpg?w=2560)
Once upon a time, running backs were the unquestioned kings of fantasy. But as the NFL has become more pass-heavy and more fantasy leagues have adopted PPR scoring, the pendulum has shifted somewhat.
In fact, some fantasy drafters fade the position now, employing the "Zero RB" strategyāfilling the other slots in the starting lineup before banging away at upside plays in the later rounds.
Others use the "Hero RB" draft method: anchoring the position around one high-end back before exercising patience at the position for the second starting spot. Others still rock the old-school "Robust RB" strategy, attacking the position early and often.
Whichever strategy you prefer, just know that the depth at running back isn't great. And there's a point in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts known as "The RB Dead Zone" where the gap in bust rates between running backs and wide receivers is at its apex.
There will be "dead zone" running backs who are viable fantasy starters in 2026. But the odds are not in your favor.

Undervalued Running Backs
Omarion Hampton, Los Angeles Chargers (ADP: RB9)
Hampton's rookie season was derailed by an ankle injury, but he was drafted in the first round for a reason. He was on pace to flirt with 1,400 total yards in 2025, and there's little question that Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh wants to run the ball this season.
Javonte Williams, Dallas Cowboys (ADP: RB16)
Williams had a coming-out party last year, topping 1,200 rushing yards, scoring 11 touchdowns on the ground and finishing the year inside the top-12 running backs in PPR points. He has RB1 upside with an RB2 price tag.
Overvalued Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers (ADP: RB3)
There are all kinds of things working against McCaffrey in 2026, whether it's his age, the career-high 413 touches he had a year ago, or his history the year after topping 2,000 total yards. He's done it three times (including a year ago). After the first two, the wheels fell off.
Jeremiyah Love, Arizona Cardinals (ADP: RB13)
Fantasy drafters at least aren't going as hard at Love as they did Ashton Jeanty a year ago, but the third overall pick in the 2026 draft faces the same issue Jeanty did in 2025: The team around him is terrible, and the game scripts aren't going to favor the run game.
Sleeper Running Backs
Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers (ADP: RB28)
Hubbard lost the starting job in the Panthers backfield to Rico Dowdle last year, but now Dowdle is in Pittsburgh and Hubbard's biggest competition for touches this year is a player in Jonathon Brooks who has played just three games over his first two seasons.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans (ADP: RB29)
Pollard doesn't inspire much excitement among fantasy managers these days, but the 29-year-old has topped 1,000 rushing yards in four straight seasons and logged top-15 PPR finishes in two of them.
Wide Receivers
4 of 6.jpg?w=2560)
With more and more NFL teams gripping it and ripping it in three-wide sets, the wide receiver position has increased in value.
In PPR leagues, as a whole wide receivers have a lower bust rate than their counterparts in the backfield. As a result, more and more fantasy drafters are comfortable using their first selection in drafts on a wideout.
Of course, all those three wide receiver formations also means more players at the position receive steady targets. Wide receiver is the deepest position in fantasyāyou have a much better chance of finding a hidden gem in the double-digit rounds at wideout than at running back.
Having at least two reliable weekly starters at wide receiver is generally a good idea. But the third starting spot (or a "flex" starter) can often be filled by either platooning wideouts based on matchups or by unearthing one of those late-round treasures.

Undervalued Wide Receivers
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings (ADP: WR5)
Jefferson had a down season by his standards last year, but that had a lot more to do with J.J. McCarthy than Jefferson himself. With Kyler Murray the likely starter in Minnesota this season, Jefferson will rebound to elite status and has a shot to be the overall WR1.
Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (ADP: WR14)
Over the first five weeks of last season, Egbuka was a top-three fantasy wideout before tailing off over the second half of the year. With Mike Evans now in San Francisco, Egbuka is going to emerge as Tampa's No. 1 wideoutāand crack the top 10 at the position in PPR points.
Overvalued Wide Receivers
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons (ADP: WR7)
To be clear, London is an excellent young wide receiver. But in four NFL seasons, he has topped 1,000 receiving yards just once, and the Falcons have major questions at quarterback. He's being drafted at fantasy ceilingāand then some.
Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs (ADP: WR11)
Rice has shown glimpses of elite talent over his three professional seasons. But he has also played in just 12 games over the past two seasons combined and has already undergone knee surgery this offseason, making his profile much riskier than his ceiling suggests.
Sleeper Wide Receivers
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers (ADP: WR56)
Coker's numbers over his first two years in the pros are relatively modest: 872 receiving yards and five touchdowns. But the Panthers gave him almost $12 million a year this offseason, and he's expected to take on a larger role in the Carolina offense in 2026.
Jalen Nailor, Las Vegas Raiders (ADP: WR61)
Yes, the Raiders were terrible offensively a year ago. Yes, there remain legitimate questions on that side of the ball in 2026. But it's not that often that the likely No. 1 wideout for an NFL team is available in the 13th round of fantasy drafts, and that's the case with Nailor this summer.
Tight Ends
5 of 6.jpg?w=2560)
In fantasy leagues, the tight end position is essentially a game of Let's Make a Deal. There are three doors to choose from, and you have to hope you don't get Zonk'd.
The odds that will happen with door No. 1 are relatively lowāprovided Trey McBride of the Arizona Cardinals and Brock Bowers of the Las Vegas Raiders stay healthy, they should have big seasons. But they also carry the lofty asking price in drafts to match.
If that price tag is too rich, door No. 2 may be your best betāa Tier 2 option like Kyle Pitts of the Atlanta Falcons. There's less cost, but more risk; most of the second-tier guys have at least question mark looming over them.
Then there's door No. 3: waiting at the position and taking a late stab at a tight end ranked outside the top 10. If they hit, it's the kind of value that can win leagues. But there are no guarantees late in drafts, and fantasy drafters could just as easily find themselves with a hole at the position by going that route.

Undervalued Tight Ends
Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta Falcons (ADP: TE6)
After three straight underwhelming seasons, Pitts finally put together a campaign that rivaled his rookie year in 2025, finishing second in PPR points at the position. If Tua Tagovailoa wins the starting job under center in Atlanta, his quick release will mean good things for Pitts in the year to come.
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs (ADP: TE10)
Kelce turns 37 in October and hasn't had a 1,000-yard season since 2022. But he was the third-ranked tight end in PPR points as recently as last year Don't rule out one last top-five season.
Overvalued Tight Ends
Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns (ADP: TE7)
Fannin had an excellent rookie season for the Browns last year, finishing sixth at the position in PPR points. But there are new wide receivers in Cleveland, a new coaching staff and quite possibly a different starting quarterback. None of those help Fannin's chances of a repeat.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (ADP: TE9)
When Kittle is healthy, odds are he's going to be a top-five fantasy option. But that "when healthy" is a heck of a caveat with the 32-year-old, and he's coming off a torn Achilles suffered in last year's playoffs and more likely than not won't be ready for Week 1.
Sleeper Tight Ends
Chigoziem Okonkwo, Washington Commanders (ADP: TE16)
Okonkwo showed enough over four seasons with the Tennessee Titans to get $10 million a season over three years from the Commanders. When Jayden Daniels was on his game two years ago, he targeted Zach Ertz regularly, and Okonkwo could similarly be the No. 2 option in Washington's passing game.
T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings (ADP: TE22)
It seems a little weird to call a tight end who was once considered an elite fantasy option a "sleeper," but that's where Hockenson is after two straight seasons with less than 500 receiving yards. He is also still just 29 years old, and he finished fourth at the position in PPR points in 2023.
Kickers and Team Defenses
6 of 6.jpg?w=2560)
The best strategy with team defenses and kickers can be summed up in one word: Wait.
Sure, it's tempting to procure a high-end team defense like the Denver Broncos or Houston Texans. But given the number of moving pieces and changes from year to year, defenses are notoriously unpredictable in fantasy.
The first defense drafted in a given year and the top defense at season's end are rarely the same. And even if they are, the difference between DST1 and DST12 is often only a couple of points per game.
Wait until late. Draft a defense that starts the season with a favorable matchup or two to open the year. And then when those matchups dry up, just dump them and grab another matchup play off the waiver wire. You can stream your way to top-five fantasy numbers for a fraction of the cost of an elite unit.
Where kickers are concerned, there's one right way to draft them: in the last round. Always. As with defenses, kickers are high-variance from season to season and the difference between high-end starters and lower end ones is minimal.
Don't squander draft capital that can be better spent on depth or upside plays.

Undervalued Kickers and Defenses
Cam Little, Jacksonville Jaguars (ADP: PK5)
There isn't a kicker in the NFL more fun to roster in fantasy football than Little. He was fifth in fantasy points last season, and there's something soothing about watching him try a 65-yard field goal and knowing it's well within his range.
Pittsburgh Steelers Defense (ADP: DST8)
The Steelers have been as consistently productive on a yearly basis as they have over the last decade, largely due to a perennially fierce pass rush. They tied for third in fantasy points among defenses a year ago, and that was with said pass rush having a "meh" season by its standards.
Overvalued Kickers and Defenses
Jake Bates, Detroit Lions (ADP: PK8)
Many fantasy managers assume the kicker for a team with a potent offense will translate to a productive option. That's not always the caseāBates was a mediocre 13th at the position in fantasy points per game in 2025.
Los Angeles Rams Defense (ADP: DST2)
After the offseason trades that brought cornerback Trent McDuffie and edge-rusher Myles Garrett to Los Angeles, it's not hard to see why fantasy managers are excited about the Rams defense this year. But drafting a team defense at its ceiling is just bad draft strategy.
Sleeper Kickers and Defenses
Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers (ADP: PK16)
Boswell isn't flashyāmuch like the Pittsburgh offenseābut the 35-year-old was fantasy football's top kicker as recently as 2024 and has made at least 93 percent of his field-goal attempts in two of the past three seasons.
Las Vegas Raiders Defense (ADP: DST30)
This isn't a play for the faint of heartāthe Raiders defense was a factor in Las Vegas finishing with the NFL's worst record a year ago. But the team was aggressive in bolstering that unit in the offseason, and the Raiders open the 2026 campaign against a Miami Dolphins squad that just moved on from several key veterans.
