Fourth-year Grizzly Desmond Bane contributed 23 points, two rebounds, and two assists to complement Edey's performance.
The 7'4" center's remarkable height, combined with his athleticism and physical presence, presents a significant defensive asset for a Grizzlies team that struggled last season, finishing No. 19 in defensive rating.
The 22-year-old impressed fans as he nears his regular season debut.
The Grizzlies will wrap up their preseason at home on Friday against the Miami Heat before kicking off their regular season on the road against the Utah Jazz on Oct. 23.
