Lakers' LeBron, Bronny James Saluted by NBA Fans for Historic Preseason Game vs. Suns

Bronny James' ultimate 20th birthday gift was suiting up alongside his dad in a historic preseason game on Sunday night, wearing a Los Angeles Lakers jersey.

A win for the Lakers would have been the cherry on top, but the Phoenix Suns defeated the Lakers 118-114.

Instead, Bronny will carry on the legacy of making history alongside his four-time NBA Champion father.

The father-son duo of LeBron and Bronny made history by starting the second quarter together in Saturday's game, becoming the first father and son to play on the same team together in the NBA.

LeBron wowed fans by showcasing all his skills during his 22nd preseason in the NBA, ending with 19 points, five rebounds and four assists while shooting 67 percent from beyond the arc.

Bronny finished the night with playing 13 minutes and grabbing two rebounds.

The freshly-turned 20-year-old out of USC was selected by the Lakers with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft.

Lakers Nation was quick to express their excitement with the decision to draft Bronny back in July. On Sunday, dreams became a reality as fans flocked to social media to share the historic night together.

The Lakers will play their third preseason game on Thursday, Oct. 10 against the Milwaukee Bucks on the road.
