Thompson, the No. 11 overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft, won four championships and six Western Conference titles in Golden State.
The two-time All-NBA Team selection averaged 19.6 points per game for the franchise, shooting 41.3 percent from three-point range along the way.
Thompson's best efforts included a 37-point third quarter against the Sacramento Kings, his 14 three-pointers against the Chicago Bulls in one game and a 60-point outing against the Indiana Pacers.
Thompson's comeback from a torn ACL suffered in the 2019 NBA Finals and a torn Achilles suffered in his run-up to the 2020-21 season may be the apex of his legacy. Thompson came back in the middle of the 2021-22 campaign and averaged 20.4 points, second on the team. He then posted 19.0 points per game for the Dubs in the playoffs en route to their fourth championship in eight years.
He undoubtedly authored a phenomenal run in Golden State, and he'll look to begin a new one now that he's joined Kyrie Irving and Luka Dončić in Dallas.
