Bradley Beal: Relationship with Suns' Kevin Durant, Devin Booker is 'Rejuvenating'
Bradley Beal seems very happy that he ended up with the Phoenix Suns. In Devin Booker and Kevin Duran, he found kindred spirits.
"My relationship with Booker and K is fun," Beal wrote in a diary entry for Andscape. "It's competitive, it's energetic, it's rejuvenating. It is what I needed. I think it's what we all need when you have like-minded guys who want to be the best that they can be on and off the floor, very unselfish guys and just want to compete at the highest level."
There are questions, of course, how three players who have been the No. 1 scoring options for their teams at various points in their careers will learn to share the rock.
Will Booker or Beal operate as more of the point guard? In crunch time, who gets the last shot? How long will it take a largely remade roster—Jusuf Nurkić, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and a number of other players are also new to the team this season—to jell?
But Beal doesn't seemed concerned. If winning remains the main thing for the three superstars, the rest will fall into place.
"I'm beyond committed to this team, this organization in helping any way I can and this team sees fit, and I'm blessed to be in this position," Beal wrote. "I will never take it for granted—I'll be a hard worker, great community guy—just knowing that we're playing to win every single night."
